On Friday last week SO got me a gift certificate for a day trip to the spa...massage, facial, the works!
We had gotten a certificate to the same spa for his sis for her bday and when we got home from her party I found one under my pillow

So now me and FSIL will be having a pamered spa day and I''m super excited

I was surfing Pricescope and my BF just came up and kissed the bejeebees out of me... it was pretty nice.

I got a 1/2 dozen long stem red roses from a really nice florist in town... delivered to my door.

He''s in Germany, and knows I''ve been having a bad week- so he just wanted to remind me that he cares, even if he can''t be there to hug me.

On Tuesday night I was complaining that I had nothing to listen to on my half hour commute to work -- I was absolutely sick of my cds and can''t stand the radio talk shows in the morning. Well, next morning when I went to make my coffee, there was a CD on the counter with a sweet little note beside it! Apparently he had made it after I went to bed. When I played the CD, it had all my favorite songs and "our songs" too. It was perfect. This little gesture is just a tip of the iceberg...he really is the sweetest most thoughtful person I know. For our first Valentine''s together, he actually made an entire scrapbook of our first year together! Just the kind of guy he is...I''m thrilled he''s mine.

I was lamenting the curse of my big knuckles thin fingers problem and how I hate my ering spinning around on my finger. And my darling seriously turned around and told me I could get cosmetic surgery on my finger to have it ''filled out'' to match my knuckle if I wanted. Awww - what a sweetie

Tell him you''d rather have your knuckles shaved down to match your skinny finger! That way, you can have better finger coverage...

He had already suggested that the dear thing, but decided having my fingers plumped would be less traumatic and invasive. He has thought this through, must be a PSer-SO!

He canceled his trip to Portland to be with me. Being that my mom hasn''t been doing so great lately, he doesn''t want to risk me being alone if something happens to her while he''s gone.

The other night, I had a 14 hour day after work and school and I called my SO to tell him that I was on my way to see him and that I had a bad migrane and that I was sore. When I got to his place, he had made me hot tea, had tylenol set out, and prepared a hot bubble bath for me. It was a great end to a very long day

Let''s see...something recent. He keeps track of the antique/estate jewelry stores I visit, so whenever we''re in the area he''ll suggest stopping by so I can take a look. I know he hates it, but he knows I love it and will push me to go in and look.

Can I share something sweet his mom did? For graduation she got me an antique sewing machine (his whole family is into antiques). I haven''t been using it because I haven''t been able to buy everything I need to get started. So today I got a package in the mail. It was a cute black and white box with everything I need (except fabric) to start using the machine! Scissors, pins, sewing machine needles...everything! So clearly BF has learned from the best. (There wasn''t anything in the box for him except some gummy Life Savers.)

When I went out on Friday night my boyfriend picked me up at 1am and then took my three friends home, even though they all lived miles apart and it meant we didn''t get in until after 2.30am and he had to get up for work the next morning. He never complained and just said how nice my friends are and how he didn''t want them to have to get taxis by themselves He is so lovely!!

So, yesterday SO left for VA for a buisness trip. Usually I make it up to our bedroom after I feed the dogs and let them out. But yesterday I didnt make it up there til round 10:30pm. I opened the door and laying on my pillow was a yellow envelope. I open it up and its a card...awww my heart litterally fluttered lol. So I opened it and it said

Then he wrote some personal stuff at the bottom. This man makes me fall in love with him all over agian quite often lol. He is my one and only soulmate.. he is the one that make my heart beat and my chest fill with sweet breath. He is my EVERYTHING. Anyway...just thought I''d share.

Last night I got really upset after a series of really crappy things happened and I ended up in tears. James was so sweet with me that at any other time I would''ve been sure he was proposing. The lovely things he said and how tender and lovey he was with me made my heart ache with happiness. We are going to have a wonderful life together, I think.
