This made me LOL!!!

It works like this for me. I want diamonds, I get diamonds. Then I want a handbag, I get a handbag. Then I want diamonds, I get diamonds, Then I want a handbag, you get the picture!! I want it all!!!!

For me, it is easier for me to say no to a diamond because what I want is just so out of reach. Then I satisfy my cravings with a cheaper colored gemstone. With purses, they are just within reach so I can't stop myself unless I just don't look at them. That's the reason I refuse to post or read the Purse Forum regularly.

Talk about a shopping problem huh!

For me, it was my Bottega Veneta Cabat.

Which one?! You'll share, right?

The Burnt Marshmallow Tie-Dye. I couldn't resist its smooshy squishiness. Isn't it yummy?

If I share, what will you, Miss Harriet?

It is yummy. You can take your pick. I'm not sure there's that much to choose from, though. I calculate purchases in gem terms.

Belen Echandia Enchant Me. It''s cervo leather in port. The color is darker than in the photo. I think the price was ~$675.

I LOVE THIS BAG! That is so gorgeous.
I checked her website and I like almost all of them!

I''m so pleased you went to the BE website. She really designs some beautiful bags at [what I consider] reasonable prices. You can also order a bespoke bag and have it done to your specifications. Let me know if you decide to get one

Since I joined the Purse Forum, it''s been downhill for me! Sometimes I have to take a break from that site to avoid getting another bag

BV is my favorite designer!! Your bag is TDF

If I ever decide to ''go for it,'' BV is my holy grail of bags

Thanks risingsun! When (not if

) you decide to ''go for it'', is there any particular bag style you''re looking at?

I have a Sloane as well but I''ve been eyeballing a large Veneta for a while. It''s hard to be good when many of their handbags are so tempting.

what does everyone think about trying to sell my LV? it was 495euro in October 2008. And ive only used it a handful of times because it doesnt really suit where i live...

Is the resale good on them? And where is the best place to sell it?

Blackpaw, I''d love to see a photo of your vintage BV! A bright green bag would be perfect in Spring-time, I think.

I don''t know too much about LV resale but I would assume if it''s in good condition, it can demand a good price. I would check out Bonanzle as a place to sell and to see what other similar bags are going for.

I think the medium Veneta or the new Ball bag. I''m undecided about the color. I would like a color that goes with everything, so I would prefer the "perfect" neutral, whatever that is!

Did y''all see what Lady Gaga did to her Birkin? This is how it started...

Now, it looks like this... I liked it better with the one sentence.

I like how Terence Koh's bag is still pristine. Smart guy. If you're going to scribble on a birkin, I too prefer just the one line/sentence.

I LOVE the new Ball bag! That was the one I was looking to get first before I was swayed by the grey/ferro colour on the Sloane. The Ball bag and the Veneta didn''t come in grey at that time.

BV has some gorgeous neutral colours. It''ll be a hard choice to pick just one.

I think it''s against the law to deface a Birkin
