What''s the rudest thing that''s happened to you in public?

I can''t believe those stories and how rude people can be.

My girlfriend and I went to the movies at a mall once. The movie was over relatively late (after midnight),we got to the parking lot, got in the car and as she stated to pull out of our spot, we heard a very loud pop. We got out of the car and see glass all over the ground, mainly under the rear tire. Someone left an empty Grey Goose bottle under her tire that she ended up running over it!!! As we were cleaning the glass from under the car this guy runs up and is asking what happened. My friend tells him what was going on. His response was "Oh OK, I thought you hit my car". And here I thought he was going to offer to check the tire or something. I''m so naive.

My own story is kind of funny now that I think about it. I was at 7-11 getting coffee on a Saturday morning. The line was long and moving really slow. So this older man turns around and starts talking to me, just small talk about the weather. He then turns around again and tells me that I''m pretty. I thank him. He then turns around again and tells me "You know, you would be a perfect canditate for one of those makeover shows that are always on TV". As I stood there completely shocked, not knowing how to respond to that, he addressed the entire line " Wouldn''t she be great for one of those makeover shows?"
I was pretty embarrassed, but didn''t want to say anything rude to an elderly person in front of a bunch of people, so I just paid for my coffee and walked out.

OMG!!! Horrible! These people ALL need a freaking xanax. Man!

When I was a teenager, I worked as a cashier at a grocery store. One week, we were running a special on a particular brand of frozen cornish game-hens.

I had a customer who came to my register with two cornish game hens, however they weren''t of the brand which was on sale. Hers were regular price.

Of course she demanded the sale price. I tried showing her the sale circular, I had a stock clerk check the price for her....no dice. She continued to demand the sale price. I even called my manager, and when he refused to sell her the higher-priced brand at the sale price, the stock clerk offered to go and get her two of the sale item. We really were very nice to her, and we tried our best to keep her from flipping out.

No such luck. Her response was to look directly at me and scream "SHOVE IT UP YOUR A**!!!!" After which she proceeded to STICK A FROZEN HEN IN THE POCKET OF MY UNIFORM''S SMOCK! Seriously. Add to which indignity, I was a vegetarian at the time. A vegetarian with a bloody chicken melting in her smock-pocket.

People. Are. Nuts.

When I was in college I had a part time job at the hotel on campus as the front desk person. We got a lot of business people coming to campus for one reason or another conferences mostly. One day I was checking out this guy in his 50''s or so, and told him that his company covered the room charges but not the extras charged to the room, like movies rented from the tv (and by rented movies in this case, I mean adult rented movies). He then proceeded to scream at me in the lobby that it was a mistake, he didn''t watch any movies, he clicked on the order button but then turned the tv off. He carried on about how I was so stupid how did I ever get into college...blah blah blah. He was yelling, everyone in the lobby was staring. I just politely smiled and pointed to a machine next to the computer that spits out the movie order information for each room, and then leaned in to quietly tell him that we know he did indeed watch "I Dream of Jenna" for the entire duration of the film along with a few other choice movies. If he would like to continue to dispute the charge we can forward the information along to his company if not, we would need a private credit card to put the charges on. I wish I had a camera at that moment, the look on his face was priceless. He forked over his own credit card and signed the bill pretty fast. The moral of the story, be nice to people in general, and remember hotel staff know when you are watching dirty movies, and for how long...

"I dream of Jenna" he has classy taste!

I went to a community college for 2 years, then junior year transfered to a 4 yr university. Freshmen and transfer students were required to move into the dorms a couple days early because of orientation and whatnot.

Well, here I am, moving in into the dorms early with an arm-full of stuff in the stairwell, struggling to put my key into the door when two guys come walking down the stairs. Just as they passed me and turned the corner to the next set of stairs I lost my balance and dropped EVERYTHING i was struggling to carry. One of them chuckled and the other one said "freshman..." (in this ''i''m rolling my eyes'' kind of way).. and both of them just kept on walkin down the stairs.

I was too shocked at their rudeness to even react...
