I''m interested in finding some deep colored diamonds - much like the peachy grayish champagne colored stone I just oogled in the SMTR forum....I''ve found some L and K''s but i can''t see the color in those like i''d expect. thanks!

To name a few:

diamondsbylauren.com (specializes mostly in yellows and pinks)
fancydiamonds.net
colordiamondshop.com (check out the blog - you''ll be sitting in your own drool)

I have purchased several stones from my friends at fancydiamonds.net; extraordinary service, all certified natural fancy, and a LOT of choice. Fast delivery too! I strongly encourage you to seek them out. They have some very affordable stones, and some of the rarest colors on earth! from faint to vivid. Be prepared for a bit of a shock if you''re looking for vivids, especially in red or green lol!

thanks...i''ll check them out. i tried googling and them and it wasn''t such a good thing. lol

You mean you haven''t mastered mind reading yet OMC? LOL J/k

I tried googling colored diamonds for sale..no luck.

I''m interested in faint yellows - a little more than barely there but not bright yellow - and the other fancy colors like, blues and greens and the all rare reds and pinks and champagnes and blacks..

is this worth the $1500? not that I have the extra to spend but for the future reference...as I would like to own one at some point.

At $10,000/ct it seems expensive for what it is. JMHO

i thought it a bit pricy but its my first time even seeing chamelon diamonds so i wasn''t sure if it was out of the ordinary or notl..

It would be a better price if were a deep or dark, rather than just a fancy, but it is a pretty little stone. If you have never seen a chameleon, it is a true wonder of nature.
Rparker- there are a lot of mixed colors, auburns, chocolates, coffee colors that are inexpensive in small sizes. You should be able to find nice rich colors if you stay maybe .25 ct to .33ct. and below for a couple of thousand per carat or less ($200-$1000.00) stones. Personally I would talk to a local independent (not mall or chain)jeweler in your area and tell them what you desire. If you tell them you want to collect, they will work close with you, and should be able to get nice parcels with many stones and colors to show you. It is an absolute MUST to see any coloured diamond in person before you buy. You can tell nothing by a picture or paper. Good luck and have fun in your search.

Funny, I was just trolling the threads before I posted almost the exact same question! I''m also looking for a "lower" coloured stone but having a hard time finding what I wanted. The only place I''ve seen online so far that goes down further than an M is Excel Diamonds. They have a great loose diamond search that goes down to Z colour (I am looking for a N to Z cushion in the 1.5 carat range and they had a few in W, V, etc.)

Can you update this thread if you have any luck anywhere else? I''m not sure how to proceed myself with this (how do you know what colour a stone is past N? They''re not ALL just different shades of yellow - I know that much - I''m basically looking for something that if it were more intense, would be a champagne, but without the price - not sure how to find it either)

I will have to check them out. The links that TL posted are very good.
