Where to get diamond set?

Hey, all,

So thanks to Pricescope I purchased a very beautiful diamond from an online vendor over the weekend, and I am now looking to get it set in a white-gold micro-pave type setting. I wasn''t sure where I should start looking... I''ve basically perused Blue Nile (although I understand that they do not set diamonds that they have not sold) and some brick and mortar websites like Jared.

I was hoping that someone might be able to point me in the right direction as to where I could have the diamond set for the best value. I was hoping to propose in about a month, so hopefully I can get this all taken care of within that timeframe.

Who did you buy it from? If they have nice settings you can send it back and they can set it. This is safest because they will (or should, be sure to ask) take responsibility for the diamond during the setting process and will not charge a setting fee since you bougth the diamond from them.

I bought a loose diamond from an on-line vendor, so I''m looking for some place that will set a diamond bought elsewhere. Custom jewelers are an option, but I was hoping to save cost and I fear that custom jewelry may be out of my budget range.
