This is a serious Q.

Granted I''ve never been very hairy - never ever had to shave my legs my entire life. But this morning I looked at my legs and saw no hair, nothing, none at all, not even a tiny little one. Then I looked at my arms and there''s nothing there either. What I used to have is very sparse very thin and short hair on my arms and legs but now they''ve completely disappeared!

This is very perplexing and am a little worried to be honest. I have a thyroid condition (Hashimoto''s) and am on 25 micrograms a day and it seems to be helping. The hair on my head used to fall out in clumps and now the rate of it falling out has declined considerably and I even seem to have baby hair growing.

My eyelashes seem to be less thick and a bit shorter too but thank God they''re still there. I''m now worried they may fall out completely like the hair on my arms and legs!

Oh, I still have hair...hmmm...elsewhere...so at least there''s still some normality there.

Very weird indeed!

I have very little body hair due to thyroid problems too... I have tons of black hair on my head but that''s pretty much it. My arms actually have a little bit of hair but it''s so sparse, fine and light you can''t see it without serious scrutiny, and I still shave my legs out of habit but usually only every three weeks or so. Even after thyroid meds, it''s never grown back; and I definitely used to have a lot more leg and arm hair, and I *know* I had eyebrows once. I have like 3 eyebrow hairs past where the arch ought to be; I have to draw the whole eyebrow on pretty much. If you haven''t gotten your thyroid levels checked you might, but I think maybe once your body hair thins out it stays that way- least that''s my experience.

sometimes people lose their hair on their arms and legs due to circulatory or cardiac issues. Maybe you should head to the Dr. for a workup? Could be thyroid related as well, hopefully everything is OK!

I was never a hairy person but I have noticed as I get older (I''m upper 40''s) that I have even less. I have very little
hair on my arms (basically none on my underarms). Only a little bit of hair left on the front of the bottom of my legs.
Very few eyebrow hairs after the arch (like LGK) and my bottom eyelashes seem to be disappearing

I dont know wether to be happy that I dont have to shave very often or sad that I''m spending more on eyeliners!

I''m in my late 20s and I was kinda hairy on my legs when I was younger. The hair on my arms wasn''t that bad at all. I started shaving when I was 13 and now I barely have hair on my legs. Out of the women in my family, I''m actually the hairest since on my mom''s side, the girls don''t have to shave at all. Maybe you need to get a quick check up and share your concerns with your doctor. Just wanted you to know that hair loss runs in my family too and we''re all pretty healthy.
