I am looking for two diamonds with H color. The only difference between the two is fluorescence grading. One is faint fluorescence and one is none.
I am not sure which is better? Is faint fluorescence doing a favor to H color and make it look nicer?

I think there are probably far more other important differentiating features in the diamonds than florescence.

What are the rest of the specs and prices? Any photos?

In this case I would worry more about its cut quality than the fluor. ;))

Think of fluor as a cool party trick. Fait flour is likely to never be noticed, at all. If you are in a totally black space and shine a powerful UV flashlight on the diamond, you may see the tiniest bit of blue. It will not have an impact on the color (good or bad).

You say the diamonds are otherwise the same, do you mean they have identical proportions (crown angle, pavilion angle, table %, depth %, lower girdle facets)? If so, then you are comparing apple to apples. If any of these are different between the two, you may be comparing two diamonds of dramatically different light return and "sparkle". Two round diamonds of equal weight and spread (size in mm) with identical GIA XXX grading for cut, polish, symmetry, and and the same color and clarity -- can be dramatically different in light return and beauty based on the actual proportions.

For us to give useful feedback, you can give us the GIA number or the following for each:
Cut, Clarity (grade and - list the grade setting inclusions in order and any "notes"), Color, Crown Angle, Pavillion Angle, Table %, Depth %, and Lower Girdle Facets. From there, we may also recommend photos and ASET images.

Between Faint and None there is no change in value or appearance. Maybe you might be able to perceive some fluorescence if you are in a nightclub, but depending on how faint, possibly not even then.

If you can answer Rockysalamander's questions the great prosumers here can give you a better response to your questions.
