The ones you allow yourself to have only occasionally or only a little bit, or else you'd eat the whole thing in one sitting?

Kettle chilli chips - I get sick of things, I get over things, I usually have an inbuilt sensor where if I eat enough of something I’ll be done. But I can keep eating these chips. What’s odd is I don’t particularly love them. They aren’t amazing or anything. Good and tasty but I love other food so much more. I can just oddly keep munching on these though!

I love the saltiness of roasted and salted pumpkin seeds, and would stop for a day or so to give my mouth a rest from the roughness and saltiness of the shells before I start again.

I buy as many packets of certain brands as I could find from Polish grocery stalls as they seem to be the best ones available.

DK :))

Cashews, almonds, pecans.

Miss Vickies Jalapeño chips!

Sea salt bagel chips from Aldi, LOVE them! I try, and also encourage the rest of the family not to eat out of bags or packages. Not only because chips and the like are so easy to overeat when you are eating out of a package, but also because multiple hands in a bag of chips is

Potato chips with cream cheese...I curse whoever created cream cheese! It's my downfall!

And I bet you can't guess my dessert of choice...yep, Cheesecake!

potato chips and salted caramel biscotti

Sweets in general - with chocolate being the preference!

This is me, too. Seriously, when we buy bulk candy from Costco (Halloween candy, or M&M's for the grandkids) I have to have my husband hide the bag/box, so it's not just sitting in the pantry for me to see and pop one of two in my mouth. I would be doing that ALL day!

Chips or nuts? Nope. I can easily resist them, no problem.

Fritos-- so I don't buy them! And I told my DH to hide them just for himself, if he does buy a bag.

Sunflower seeds. We only get them for road trips, but when we do….my husband and I finish the whole bag, no matter what size it is.

Fritos for me too. I loved them when I was a kid, then didn't have them for years. Recently I saw the small bags at the store (2 small bags for $1) and bought them and remembered how much I like them. I try not to buy them to often.

Chocolate is my real problem though. I love the Dove dark chocolate Promises. I can't eat just one or two......that's the real issue.

Chex mix. Since way way back when you had to buy Chex cereal to make it.

The classic traditional flavor, of course. Nothing else (although I've been known to indulge in a few of the other flavors) takes me back to my childhood.

Lay’s dill pickle flavored potato chips, and I’m not even a chip person normally.

Fannie May trinadads and Hersey funsize chocolate bars. Taking one always turns to seven in less than 5 minutes.

@RMOO , Your comment made me laugh. I also ask my husband to please hide them from me.

I've learned to make taro chips at home.
Local Asian markets charge around $4 a pound for fresh raw taro, but my Mexican market charges only $1.78 and they welcome Bibi too.
My OXO mandolin helps slice each one very thin and very even.
Even thickness is essential; otherwise thiner ones burn and thicker ones are raw inside.

I deep fry in a LC enameled cast iron wok with avocado oil, expensive but one of the healthiest oils with a high smoke point.
A wok requires less oil than a flat-bottom dutch oven to get the oil deep enough so temp doesn't drop as much when you add the taro.
Also cast iron has so much mass that it holds heat well, which Las is helpful to keep the temp up to fry properly and quickly.
Less time in the oil results in less oil absorbed.
Also I'm experimenting with a lower temp so the edges of the chips are not darker than the middle.
I had no idea deep fat frying well required so much nuancing.

I had never deep fat fried in my life, but I'm enjoying learning more about various cooking styles.
It took about 4 tries before I was happy with the taro chips.
My neighbors are going gaga over them.

Taro chips are surprisingly healthy for how scrumptious they are.
I use avocado oil and sprinkle on tiny pinch of Kosher salt right after removing chips from oil.
If you let chips cool the salt doesn't dissolve and spread as well.

Next I'm going to try baking them after brushing oil onto them.

Go ahead, I dare ya.
Try to eat just one. :evil2: :evil2: :evil2:

OK this is definitely a favorite topic other than gemstones!! I just found a popcorn that I could eat an entire bag in one sitting. It's called Boom Chicka Pop and it's the "sweet and salty kettle corn" flavor. It's absolutely fantastic - and I don't usually like sweet things!!

I can (always do) also eat salt and vinegar kettle chips to the point that my mouth hurts :loopy: :loopy:

I also make my own thai-chili popcorn at home (keeping that recipe a secret because i'm evil and might wanna sell it some day!)

Pomegranate popsicles by Outshine. I’m probably ruining my teeth, but there you go. ;)2

Oh yes. Mom made this for us at Christmas and we all took that recipe with us.
