Hi there,

Looking for some final advice please :o)

Which would yu choose out of the final two - specs and vidro comparison included. I am finding it hard to tell the difference between the two in the video - although I can see slight differences in the patterns, i cant really tell what I am seen and which is a preferred pattern? Argh!

I have not been told which stone is which in the video?? What do your eyes prefer in the video? The stats adn pics of each stone are below.

1.53 G SI1 AGS 000 H&A $16,800 approx
HCA 1.5
fire: Excellent
Scintillation: Excellent
Light return: excellent
Spread: Very good

eye clean (external cavity (That can be felt) on the girdle and healed feather) all prongable. Not sure if I am uncomfortable with the external inclusions (cavity on girdle) even though it can be pronged. Should it avoided where possible even though it can be covered?

I prefer the one on the right. Please let us know which one is which after you have decided!

At first it was the one on the left.. but the longer I watched.. I like the one on the right...

I like the one on the right too...it seem brighter to me.

R no question for *me*.

ETA: Depending on how much you want to nitpick I''d suggest if at all possible having them shipped out to look at in-person, or taking a trip to GOG - I think this is one comparison that really ought to be made in-person, videos just can't convey the full picture.

That said either would be a lovely stone and a great choice! We're firmly in "up to personal preference, if you care to investigate" territory. And since we're in "personal preference" territory our personal preferences aren't really going to be of any use to you!

Hard to tell, the one in right hand might be a little better.

ETA: missed part of your OP - GIA is merciless wrt what it considers to be "over-brillianteering", for lack of better wording - beyond what's inherent in actually cutting the stone, but the EightStar company has made a fortune off the practice (crown painting specifically), so we're back to personal preference :halo:
