Here's a rough sketch of what I have in mind to do with the 17 ct and a couple of the smaller ones. I'm not sure if I''ll use ovals or pears for the drops, right now I'm leaning toward ovals. I could even put thin halos around the drop stones.
Another option I've considered is to turn the 17 ct sideways and put a third, slightly longer drop in the center.
