This interesting necklace and locket are quite old.
I think the pieces were not originally a necklace. Maybe they were game pieces? I need to do more research. They are gold plated. Each piece has an etched design. Look at the little faces!

I have a few pieces of Lladro new from when nice high street jewlers sold it.
I really love it
It seems to have held its price quite well here for pre-loved on the local 'eBay' type site

@stracci2000 can you wear the watch parts as a necklace? I don’t see a clasp in the picture but thought maybe it’s long enough for over the head.

Seriously this is amazing, I haven’t seen anything close to this in my travels, quite a treasure.

Oh girl, I have tiaras.
The pageant crown is from my antique mall. Unbelievably, it was only $13.00. The other was from a yard sale, and I overpaid at $5.00 :lol:
One for each of us.... we'll take turns wearing them when you come to visit!

What to the assay marks say?
There are some good charts out there to help decipher.
 
@Roselina, the sapphires in your new band are such a pretty blue, sometimes they are way too dark to appreciate. Looks great on your hand too!

Thank you! It‘s a cute little band. And I was surprised by the blue as well. One is much lighter and one big window but the middle one is nice. And they are so small so no one would notice the imperfections.

I am still excited about it. I really love vintage and antique pocket watches, so it was really uncanny that this is made from watch parts.

I had no idea what it was when I grabbed it at this estate sale.
I'm still amazed that these pieces date to the Georgian period.

There must be some crazy sapphire juju in the air. I found one on Friday that I couldn’t walk away from either, a three stone. Price was way too good. Glad I’m not the only obsessed person here:lol:
