I would love to meet some of the old guard in Hollywood...

Lana Turner, Carole Lombard, Ava Gardner, Vivien Leigh, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, some of the big names from that time.

I also would love to meet Harper Lee, Truman Capote, Jackie Kennedy and Henry Kissinger.
Betty Ford would be interesting as she singlehandedly helped with addiction by having her center and bringing it out into the mainstream. I think now it has kinda become a joke with how often stars are in and out of rehab, but I hope it really does help a significant number of people. Back in the day it was such a taboo that people often just died of their disease, did not seek help for the shame of it.

I would love to meet Mick Jagger and Al Pacino. I love the Rolling Stones. Would also love to meet Paul McCartney. My dad met the Beatles in the 60''s. He said they were fine young men, but he hated their hair LOL LOL.

My dad was a DJ on a radio station in San Francisco, he met so many celebrities, he was very fortunate. He thought it wasn''t a big deal. Well...... it was to my brother and I. HA!!!! He even played ping pong with Frank Sinatra.
He had a very good life, my dad. One day he was going to meet the BeachBoys at the radio station and he would not let my brother and I stay home from school to go with him. I was a sophomore in highschool then. I was soooooo mad at him.

And.. a cool story about meeting a celebrity..

One of my very good friends in college''s dad is a movie critic in the DFW area. When she was very, very little she loved to fall asleep to Meryl Streep''s recording of the Velveteen Rabbit. He had an interview with her when my friend was about to turn two, and on a whim bought a copy of the Velveteen Rabbit and brought it. He said that some of the celebrities you would think would be the nicest are anything but, so he had no idea how Meryl Streep would be. She ended up being quite lovely and very friendly. He asked her to sign the book, and she put "Happy 2nd birthday _____!" But, he didn''t give it to her then. He gave it to her for her high school graduation. So sweet!
