I''ve been on the search for a wedding band and have been trying to find a rose gold wedding band, either plain or with diamonds. I''m the type of person that has a hard time buying stuff online or without trying it on. I''ve been to a bunch of stores and there''s hardly any rose gold jewelry. Or if there is it''s one of those tri-color deals with white, yellow and rose gold. Why no love for rose gold? I think it''s just as beautiful as yellow and white gold or platinum.

I know that Diamonds By Lauren and Heart of Water Jewels both make pieces in lovely rose gold. From what I understand, rose gold can be more difficult to deal with any many places don''t work with it. I have owned and do own rose gold pieces from both of these vendors and have been very pleased with them.

Good luck!

I can speak for Heart of Water Jewels -- my fiance and I bought his mother an aquamarine pendant from that store last year. They were a pleasure to work with.

I think Jabel offers to build most of their settings in Rose Gold.

I don''t know why rose gold is so rare today but when I was young

, it was consider as beauty and green gold too.

In 1978, my father gave me a massive green gold chain. Was so special and beautiful. Many years later, green and rose gold slowly disappeared from the market and all jewels was yellow gold. Today, white gold and platinum are in vogue. Time passes and the tastes change I think.

fads... trends... in the 70''s yellow gold was king - in the 80''s there was a transition to white gold then in the 90''s to platinum... it may never be as popular as the others because it comes off as rather pink and not a lot of men want to pull that off so that cuts close to half your target clientele right there. But you''re right - it is beautiful. Keep in mind there are different shades of rose gold from almost silver to almost copper, sometimes a little more apricotty with more yellow gold in it - I would recommend buying online with a good return policy and purchasing a few different things to shop at home and compare.
