I have an idea. I want one of those diamonds by the yard necklaces custom made. The thing is, I have various loose diamonds of varying sizes and shapes and colors that I wish to use. Yes it would be a diamonds by the yard necklace but not all rounds. Can anyone tell me where I might find someone to make one for me?

Jadeleaves had a custom piece made with three different sizes by WF. Do a search for her thread. I *believe* there are some designs with colored stones in her thread too (even though she did all diamonds). Can''t wait to see what you decide!

Well I have a lot to pick from so these are the choices as I can remember them without seeing them right now

White diamonds

1 trillion (6mm) perhaps too big
1 emerald cut
1 baguette

Teal irradiated diamonds
2 trillions

Cognac diamonds
2 princess

Champagne diamonds

Yellow diamond

I am looking for a small green diamond and also a couple small asschers in white which seem to be hard to find in the approx size of .18
I really want it to be unique in that it has all shapes and colors but it will be all diamonds

If all are smaller than the trillion mentioned, even better - larger stones tend to spend most of their time culet up in this sort of setting. The small just thrive

Besides, the largest diamond could well become a center piece of sorts.

Well the green ones are hard to find and so far I have only found a couple of ovals but I need to check the dimensions before I decide to buy. I like a forest green color.
They are all smaller than the 6mm trillion I listed so they should work well together. I am trying to play around with placement this weekend with some of them but nothing will be final until I get the green and the asschers. Perhaps I can get a picture of all of them and post it.

I will most likely be checking with several people about this project to include Miachel E, WF, Wink and others.
