H&A can work well or you can look for shallower proportioned stones, those which might show obstruction in a ring can make excellent pendant stones because obstruction isn't an issue when sent in earrings or a pendant. Shallower depths, larger tables, shallower angles can all work as long as supporting images check out, the HCA will further advise, generally those stones which score below 1 can be suitable for pendants and earrings and this link is useful also.

SDL has a beautiful h&a pendant if I remember rightly.

Mine is near H&A and scores .50 on the HCA and seems to look pretty nice! Sparkles wonderfully to the point that if I''m driving down the road on a sunny day, the beams of fire will reflect on my steering wheel

The only thing is that is has a table of 54.5% which IMO doesn''t make it look as large as it could even though it''s got great proportions overall!

My DBTY isn''t a H&A and it''s for sure less fiery than the H&A one I have!

I think H&A stones work beautifully for pendants. Even my boss (a typical male who couldn''t care less about jewelery), totally out of the blue, complimented me on it.

And here''s a pic. This is also a K, and as much I prefer higher colors, I just can''t make myself upgrade. It''s really a stunning stone.

Lurchie- I adore your bezel. It''s perfect!

Definitely, what looks good on the hand, looks great as a pendant and as earrings... It''s what I put up in Valerie''s ears

if you needed it in a hurry h&a is fast easy and great.
If you have time browsing some of the shallow pavilion GIA vg''s can be rewarding for a pendant.

Yap, you would be saving some $$ because these shallow stones are usually not in the Ex cut grade and have bigger spread.

Use the HCA, the pendant and earring stone range in the lower left of the below 2 score region?
