Maybe ten years ago, but I think those days are done

nope no way
not even with an engendering and a heath & safety report, full life cover with all inclusive travel insurence and a death wish

No chance!! o_O

Not if someone offered to pay me a large sum of money!!!!!!

Nope. I have zero adrenaline junkie in me. I went to amusement parks with my kids but those extreme rides are not for me.

Nope nope nope!! I feel nauseous just thinking about it!

Before I wax a mother, heck yes! After giving birth I never even hopped on the back of a motorcycle again. My priorities changed overnight.

That would be a hard no! Loved all the rides as a kid but no more. I am not real good with heights anymore either - lol!

If I don't get motion sickness from rotational/circular movement, I definitely would ride it! Unfortunately, that only leaves me with roller coasters.

Noooooooooooo…I won’t even go on the Tilt-a-Whirl!

Hell no!!! Last time I did something mildly like that (way more tame than that) I was 22!!!

No way-- I get motion sickness from most amusement park rides, never mind something that extreme.
I don't even like to ride facing backwards in trains.

There is no way! I got motion sickness just watching the video!

1: LOL. :lol-2:
2: EWWW!
3 ... DUH! :doh:I thought the water fountain was just decorative.

Now I'm wondering whether they recycle the water - or sell it to anglers for chum.

I had to look up chum!:sick::sick::sick::lol-2:

1000%, this is my jam! I'm a thrill seeker when it comes to roller coasters/theme park rides. Guardians of the Galaxy ride at California Adventure is one of my favorites, along with the ones that bring you super high, drop you, rinse and repeat a few times.

Now it won't be so endearing when a lifelong friend calls you 'old chum'.

In the Navy they call it, "Feeding the fish."

If I know anything about county fair rides - the water is there to put out the fire after the ride malfunctions.

Not these days. LOL! As a kid I would have been all over this. I used to roll down steep hills, and spin around to make myself dizzy. Used to LOVE that sensation!

Somehow, like many adults, my sensitivity to motion changed along the way. For me, somewhere in my mid-20s, I think. I've heard it said that one cannot make oneself carsick when at the steering wheel themselves. Uhm, incorrect. I've made myself carsick while driving a country road with tightly, beautifully banked corners. Also made myself woozy karting on an outdoor track... :???:

DH taking an on/off ramp too quickly will also upset my equilibrium and result in feeling unsettled for hours afterward. Pity, 'cause it's really fun to feel the different g-forces pulling!

I would ride it in a heartbeat! Love amusement park rides. My husband has always had motion sickness (since his 20s), even little kiddie rides like Dumbo or tea cup ride at Disneyland makehim so sick an nauseous, so I have always been the parent that rode on all the crazy fast rides with my kiddos.

I've never been on any of these amusement contraptions so don't feel feel an urge to try it (I guess I've no idea what I'm missing out on). I suppose it could potentially be useful practice for jet fighter plane training?

No way. I took my daughter to a big amusement park in Cincinnati this past weekend and got on the big water slides with her. I think that was my last time in this life doing that. I’m laughing now, but going up all those stairs and then letting go and letting the universe take over was kind of terrifying. I went back to the cabana and spent the rest of the day in peace.
