Just getting a feel from all of you at this website. If anyone knows diamonds its the individuals in this site. I dont want to get ripped off so would you mind checking this out and telling me if you think its legit or not

I appreciate it, thank you

I know nothing about the site, but is this the ring?

1.02 Carat Tiffany Legacy engagement ring with graduated side stones. The center stone is 1.02 carats. The surrounding diamonds number 120 in total with a total carat weight of .73, G-H color, and VVS-VS clarity. Original price $20,200.

I just personally feel like that purchase price sounds way too high for a G-H legacy, but I haven''t priced legacy rings - have you?

This is the ornate legacy which is typically $1,000 more than the original legacy setting. I have been in contact with tiffany and they have 1.1.10 car I in color VS1clar between 13-14k. Supposedly when you purchase a ring from this site, the seller ships the wring to Idonowidont who then appraises it. They told me they have their own tiffany connect who verifies the authenticity. When the ring passes, the money the buyer paid is then released to the seller.

correction*** Tiffany has 1.01-1.10 car size in stock

My husband and I picked out the ornate legacy too. The F-color center stone, with an x, vg, vg cut probably is hitting that 20k retail price based on our experience. Legacy is a cut that needs to be seen to see if it speaks to you tho. I suggest that you go to a T&Co and look at a bunch (unless you live in a big city they''ll only have the simple legacy to look at--and the setting proportions really throw off the look of the stone so it''s not an apples to apples comparison) Try to get a sense of what you like in a legacy that way, and then see if this one has what you are looking for...if not, make sure you can return it. It''s a good price tho.

I bet your ring is gorgeous. Yes I have seen in person both the original and ornate legacy setting. We both prefer the ornate setting. I need to talk to idonowidont and make sure the terms of the contract are as it says. I would feel like death if i got scammed out of that much money

I would personally have the ring shipped by the seller to an *independent* appraiser whom you choose and pay, and if that appraiser verifies its specs based on the tiffany cert, then perhaps think about it. Or perhaps it can be sent to Tiffany. I don''t know that I would trust the website, who benefits from the sale, with the job of verifying the ring''s authenticity.
