Would you say you are obsessed?

I think I have an obsessive compulsive personality

Whenever I get into something I tend to completely drown myself in it until it is ''resolved''. I''ve done it with my cats, parrots, cerebella hypoplasia in cats (I have a heart cat with this condition), nutrients, you name it. And my current obsession is the engagement ring and I''m sure I''ll be moving onto wedding stuff as soon as I receive the ring from my BF

I''m first to admit that I''m obsessed and my BF has learned to accept all my annoying traits that come with it

I am the same way but I tend to be selectively obsessive, it would be nice if I was that obsessed with more practical areas of my life sometimes.


I have started to obsess a little less about the details of the ring the diamond is picked the designer is picked but it still does not stop me obsessing about the actual receiving of said sparklie

You are here with many like minded people. I am sure your BF sees your view even if he does not get it totally (a man thing for sure).

I STILL get obsessed about certain things and I have been married almost 18 years!!

Ha, speaking of if he "baits" me. Last night we watched our show The Office. When it was over we were going to watch something we taped a while back ago. I had the tv changer and was flipping thru channels while he was going to look for our tape. I stopped on the tv guide channel giving up (not to watch) and put the changer down. He says "What the heck is this on for?" He took the changer and went back a few channels (that I passed over) and he went back to one of those shopping channels (they were showing rings,they were ugly by the way) and he says "Why don't you watch this....maybe you will LEARN something!"

Ha it was hilarious. I said "What the heck could I learn from this?" lol He then looks at me and has a HUGE smile on his face and says "Look! Sparkles." I said "Why do you do this to me? You don't want me talking about rings, and then you put this on! Don't patronize me! You must be obsessed!" ha, it was so funny. I just sat there and left it on while he got the tape and I didn't say anything else. haha! What a slimy booger he is. ha!

He did this to me because:
a. he's now going to tease me about PS
b. he also knew that those rings were ugly and wanted a reaction out of me (I didn't give in though)
c. obviously he was "baiting" me HA!
