...and pay $12,250 for it? (Black & white diamonds) Eeeeuuwww. :knockout:

Nope. The diamonds don't look all that great.

Wear it yes? Pay that much? No! I'd pay 12.50. It looks like you could buy it at forever 21

If it had been made with interesting stones of high quality (like rubies and paraibas) YES. I love skulls, I prefer sugar skulls and find them totally appealing in bright colors. I would prefer something like this but made with colored stones. $12K for a bunch of black diamonds however, no.

Not no because it is a skull, but no because I don't think it is well executed.

Who's selling this for $12,500??

It was on 1st Dibs; I don't remember the seller. The skull is one thing -- though I don't like the diamonds much either -- but the worm crawling in & out is icky.

How about these cufflinks, also 1st Dibs? 18k yellow & white gold with jaws & diamond eyes, both moving. Price on request from Deakin & Francis, UK.

I think that's suppose to be a snake

Eeeeeeep.

Not my style that's for sure. I woukdd find quite a few other things to do with my spare 12 grand.

Now I just have to remember where I put my spare 12 grand!

Dior 2009 i guess.

No. The teeth should be diamonds; haven't they heard of grills?

If it had been rendered in a really cool 3D way, like a "similar" ring at Robinson Goldsmith, I would wear it.

I was thinking of Hot Topic! Haha!

Ok new obsession are these Dior skulls. All the little crowns and little necklaces on each ring look so cool!

Also i think if seen skull rings by solange

12 grand for that?! Heck no!

I might wear it on Halloween. 12 thou is a big hit for one day a year, though! :?

My thought too, Preg -- the teeth should be diamonds, not well done imo.

I love the crowns & necklaces on the Dior skulls -- would be happier if they came with something other than skulls.

Here's the ring I was thinking of at RDG. The execution is amazing:

I love skulls and would not wear that - it is fugly!

But I have this Bixby ring and love it!

That moonstone colour is amazing! Do you have real life pics of it?

ILG it is actually carved quartz with abalone underneath to make a doublet. The setting is sterling with 18k leaves. Bought it on QVC because I just loved the design.

The animal detail is amazing. Especially the sparrow! Birds often look too cartoonish on most pieces I come across but this one looks elegant. Even for an eyeball eater. :P

That's so awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Despite obvious skill of the jewelers, I just don't think skulls are my type of ornamentation! I'd wear the birds or the snakes happily without the bones.

If I were trying to pick up Jack Sparrow, sure...;-)

Skulls are not my thing and it is all too easy to make it look tacky. RGD's version is something I would wear proudly.
