Hi everyone, I am looking to buy a J/K eye clean Old European Cut.

@lulu_ma if you’re open to lower color I have a 3.48 N VS1 9.9x9.44 that I’ve been thinking of consigning. Almost cushion shape but OEC flower pattern under the table. I have a DB account and can create a listing for you to contact me.

I don't think it’ll hurt to take a look. I’ve seen warm M’s and white M’s. Old cuts are so different, it’s best to see with your own eyes instead of numbers on a cert. Could be nice @lulu_ma

edit: when I say take a look, I mean to email @eh613c . Not buy. Since private seller is final sales

Yes, but to be fair it was an MRB. I was looking at the profile to color grade the 4.72 I was looking at. The 4.72 was a big fail.

@lulu_ma I came across this 3.92 K SI1, hard to tell if it’s good cut wise by the pictures. If you’re interested, I’d ask for a video and they do have a 30 day return policy

I hope you're enjoying the search. You seem pretty certain about what you want, which is great, but looking at the gorgeous setting you posted a few pages back, I'm wondering if you're positive you need something quite so big? Mine is roughly 9.3 x 9.4, and, honestly, it sometimes feels HUGE to me-- I almost wish I'd gone a bit smaller.

My ec er measures something like 9.14 x 7.5 mm. The OEC will be an anniversary ring for me so I want a bigger look. And, sadly, I have fat fingers. :twirl:
 
@lulu_ma another seller you may want to check with. He gets some large OEC’s and he’s very reasonably priced

@Txborn79 I saw some of his listings. They look on paper. Have you ever seen any of his pieces irl? Many of his rings have certs from DIA, which I have never heard of...

No, I haven’t purchased from them but have them as a saved seller on eBay and they’ve been on there for years with 100% positive feedback

Not sure what DIA is...I’d only look at GIA or AGS personally so you know what you’re buying. I found his website a long time ago and later found his IG, his website photos aren’t very good but some of the OEC videos he’s posted on IG look good
