Teebee! Your ring looks almost exactly like the one I FINALLY settled on this weekend! The only difference is the one I picked out has 6 prongs instead of 4. Ha, my boyfriend made me PROMISE I wouldn''t change my mind again, since it''s about time for him to start seriously getting his business in order to buy it! But I won''t...I put that ring on my hand, and it just spoke to me!!!

Anyway, fantastic taste! Your ring is simply mahhhhvelous! I hope mine turns out as pretty!

So... after drooling over Mara''s upgrade I decided that for a diversion I would go take some more pics of my ring... It''s a beautiful sunny 80 degree day here so hopefully I got some decent "sparkle" shots!!!

Then I realize that I''m so scatter-brained that I never even subscribed to my own thread & missed a few replies!!

Lynn B ~ Thanks so much!! I saw your reset from Whiteflash & it is magnificent!! I think that we will go with a simple shared-prong band from Whiteflash to match the e-ring. I think I want it to be the same width as well. I guess now that we''ve set a wedding date I should actually give it some serious consideration ~ all of my attention had been focused so intently on the e-ring!!

Thanks Rockchic & Fortekitty & Kaleigh!! I am so pleased to be able to see the arrows so clearly w/ a "non H&A" ring... What was it that Mara called ES stones? Almost ACA??? I just really really really love all the colors that shoot out of it!!

HOUMedGal ~ That is such a compliment when someone says they picked something similar for their ring!! I willl have to catch up on some posts, have you rec''d yours yet??? If not, hang in there, I hope it is soon!!

Just curious... Since I was inspired by Mara''s ring... and there are many others that were equally inspired by Mara''s ring to get something similar... and I have rec''d quite a few PMs saying that they love my ring and would like something similar... So, just wondering how many rings have been inspired by Mara''s, either directly or indirectly??? Would kind of interesting!!

it''s overcast here today so I have alot of indirect, diffused lighting which is fun too...hehehe.

it''s funny you mention inspiration for settings as I do get alot of PM''s as well from people who love my ring and/or want to know where I got it, etc. so many of us have ''similar'' settings with small nuances, that is why I liked to see all those rings in the ''wedding eternity set'' thread since it is the small details on settings like this that set people''s rings apart and make them unique!

I think that is my favorite picture as well. I took it in our guest bedroom where I think the lighting really helps capture the arrows more than any room in the house.

I was just reading the ''wedding eternity set'' thread so I guess that is what made me curious about the whole ''exponential inspirational potential'' of your ring!!

And... well... sitting here at the computer with my wedding gown a few feet away gave me another thought for pics... so I had to ~ but I think I got better pics of my dress than my ring; the last pic is the best one. Anyhow, this is my ring w/ the bodice of my gown as the ''backdrop'':

Thanks everyone!!! It''s amazing how I end up spending my time when FI is away.... taking more and more pics!! He should at least be happy that it temporarily keeps my mind off of an upgrade...

Here is a picture of the dress from theknot.com. The dress I have here at home I got off Ebay but I haven''t got any photos trying it on and it''s a little more beat up than I had hoped so I will probably relist it... and my, er, chest is a little too big for the dress...

Awww, thanks all!!! I looooooooooooove the dress ~ fell in love with it the minute I saw it... Plus, w/ all of the colors in the embroidery, it''s lots of fun for picking out bridesmaid dresses!!

Lynn B ~ thanks!! I have no idea how I finally managed to get that great shot of the arrows... Definitely fluke more than skill... I guess after about 100 shots or so I got a real winner!!! I finally just figured out (sort of) my zoom function yesterday!! You have been taking some amazing photos yourself - that one w/ the rings on the mirror is so cool!! I remember about 8 orso years ago my cousin had started making jewelry; really really beautiful pieces but was having the hardest time finding ways to market her line & just could not get decent photos... she tried professional photographers and everything... it''s amazing how much digital cameras have changed things!!

Oh, and our happy day will be on May 27th of 2006, a Memorial Weekend celebration!!
