Stunning way to enter 2022!
I love threads like this! Everyone sharing their beloved pieces. So much fun to read the stories behind some pieces and hear the goals for the future.
My finished pieces this year are modest. Some small custom pieces, some vintage finds.
By far the most meaningful was a charm bracelet with a blank charm that my son engraved with my initials for me! He's learning engraving. He was nervous to try engraving on my "precious metal"(925 lol)....I wear it daily.
Looking back, the following projects were completed or I purchased the following:
1. 10.5 mm white South seas studs (I don't have any photos)
2. Blue akoya studs (no photos either)
3. French cut ruby and old mine diamond ring (1.5 years in the making)
4. Antique oval in a deco setting design - also a project that took over a year
5. I made some earrings:
6. I bought some vintage earrings:
7. I set a tsav garnet I have had for a couple years:
8. I reset my 3.09 omc:
I believe that pretty well covers it. I hope so, especially looking back.

I did less pieces in 2021 than I think I've done in a long time. And a couple of the pieces I did have made, I didn't keep. But I did a couple of pieces I truly adore, plus a few smaller pieces to fill in some gaps to my collection.
First and foremost - Beloved.
4.05ct H VS1 in 18kt yellow, with platinum detail. 2 matching bands. 1 x 7 stone band (1.85ctw, colorless, eye clean stones, all individually certified, all ideal cuts) - same style.
My beautiful cluster with 1.51 G VS2 center, and 2.1ctw of E VS sides - platinum.
Joy - my enamel bracelet. 18kt, mostly solid charms.
I had a number of pearl drop jackets made to go with my OEC studs. And then I had halos added to the studs. Here's an example of one pair of pearls on the newly halo'd studs. The studs are roughly 2.1ctw in platinum and the pearls are beautiful akoyas - 9mm. These ones are pink/purple/lavender color, but I also have grey with green and pink overtones, and a lovely pair of blues. They're all set in platinum and will all be worn with the same halo'd studs.
One shot without the pearls.
I also bought a 1.22ctw E VS pair of diamonds and had them set into studs.
A bypass Victorian pearl ring, and I replaced the rather damaged pearls with these pale pink akoyas.
And that's it for 2021, as far as "new projects that I kept" goes. I also did a bunch of tweaks and remakes, but you've seen them all before and none of them is substantial.
I have a pair of rather gorgeous platinum and diamond drops currently in production for 2022, a beautiful 20kt, very heavy, yellow gold ring, which has been made but which I won't receive until Valentine's Day, and I'm planning to have an enamel and diamond locket made for my birthday in June - and that's probably it for this year. At some point there will be a diamond necklace and a three stone with an emerald center - but these last 2 pieces probably won't be this year. They will also be my last 2 pieces.
Thank you! I had three longer projects finally done, which was good. But it did help to make it look like a ton of purchasing too!Oh good lord! Every single one of these is breathtaking! ( How do you stand it!?)
Seriously beautiful pieces
Thank you- too nice as always! I love the coral too. So underrated.Amazing year! The rings are fabulous but those coral earrings are my fave
Omg the Opal and coral vintage earrings- where should I be shopping? I adore these!
So that’s where the bling gods were hovering for 2021! Everything is stunning and so very you. Your reset looks perfect on you, and those coral earrings . And I’d forgotten about your tsav - it was worth waiting a couple of years, the setting suits it so well. I hope 2022 is as beautiful for you!

Thanks so much, that is so kind of you, bling_dream19! I remember there was a thread asking, "do you take your ring for granted?" and every time I stare down at her, I feel so fortunate to have her. I think we're due to get some sun this week, so I'm going to aim to get a thread up very soon!
Oh my goodness, a double halo with pink diamonds for your unheated pear would be amazing! Have you shared photos of your pear anywhere? And I'm still in awe at the kismet that led to your OEC being an absolutely perfect fit for your Emilya.

@bling_dream19 I just adore your Emilia with the OEC and your three stone is absolutely stunning too!!! Love those old cuts!
Nice haul @Niel … very nice indeed!!
Everything is AMAZING but....I LOVE the pretzel necklace SO MUCH! Do you mind sharing where you got it?
I had found an expensive one on eBay and in the “related items” on the page was this little cutie for 1/5 th the price. 14k so a little luxe a little silly you know - how I would describe myself.
