are little critters allowed here ?
little (probably dyed) agate critters ?
its made to order
i just asked for the dimensions
never mind im on a ban, or rather ive set myself clear guidelines - everything i already own needs to be usable before i buy any new stand alone pretties - of course ....this would help complete a presently unwearable necklace im lengthening due to 'fat neck'

or its available from a US based etsy shop for 3x the price
i was really looking for a tiny dragonfly or butterfly charm
I'm tempted to fix it so it's detachable so i can still wear it as a brooch
because the world needs more brooches
Love this! It's my favorite setting because each individual stone gets to shine. Would love to hear whatever details you're comfortable with sharing.

Gosh that setting is just divine. This led me to read all about your Ruby
Buy it! Add a teeny tiny thin little knife edge band between them, such as the Tiffany 1.5mm, and you will barely see it
Do you think the spacer band would need to go as high as the diamond girdles on at least one of the bands?
I’ve had a chat with my jeweller who said a bezel or Chanel set eternity could work. I’ve tried on a Chanel set with my desired carat weight, and I think it looks too masculine (like a footballer’s wedding ring) and my fingers are pretty average sized (uk k and half)
I have time to think about is as we have a big anniversary coming up in just over 18 months.
I am the same ring size as you. I think with a knife edge it is more about keeping separation at the point of the finger to keep the diamond girdles apart, which then takes to such a fine knife edge that top down when looking at your hand, you would barely see the top of the band.
If I remember tomorrow I will take a pic of my Tiffany knife edge upside down, between my wedding & eternity rings. My band tapers to a width of 1mm as the strength is in the depth, like a pointy tower standing upwards from the finger. I think it would work perfectly for what you are trying to achieve.
And, ya know.... PS enabling & all that.....
Oh my goodness! Thanks so much, that would be very appreciated. So glad you mentioned the knife edge ring. I’ve been toying with the idea of the 1.5mm ring because it sits really pretty with my solitaire and was hoping it could be dual purpose https://www.tiffany.co.uk/jewelry/rings/tiffany-true-band-ring-GRP11418/
but I wouldn’t want to buy the wrong ring
Hope this gives you some idea. Obviously the donut on my ring prevents it from being flush like a plain knife edge band would, and also your diamond bands will have a higher profile than these, so they will stand taller either side of the knife edge. It will keep them apart but disappear into the bling
