I'm drooling over everyone's sparklies.

Here's my diamond collection . . . floating in salt.
When it rains it pours.

They all have GIA or AGS reports, and the FCDs have color of natural origin.
The white round in the 14k gold earring setting on the right has no report.
I found it in a public swimming pool and could not locate the owner.
It is clearly quite colored as it is between a D round and and F asscher.
But for free it's the best value of any diamond I've got.

I would have taken this pic this earlier but I had to drug my SO to get the Octavia off his finger, no joke.
I don't blame him for not wanting to be without it; it really really IS the most exquisite diamond I have seen in my entire life.



Set up.
The camera, not in pic, hangs from the bottom of the tripod so it can look straight down, like with a copy stand.
I filled a crystal glass with salt to hold the goods.

Left to right ...

0.82 ct E VVS1 Round Whiteflash ACA
0.83 F VS1 Round Solasfera
0.24 ? color VS Emerald Cut
1.34 H VS2 Octavia Asscher
2.26 F VVS2 Asscher from Good Old Gold

The upper right round is 0.22 D IF, the next round in the gold setting is of unknown specs and the lower right round is 0.43 H SI1.

I am enjoying all the eye candy. I have realised that a photo with all my pieces at once might be a good idea for insurance purposes. To prove I own all the pieces at once, as a lot of my jewellery is covered under the home contents insurance and not individually.

I will definitely post a pic when I have this organised.

Best I can do is colored stones in one pic, diamonds/eternity bands on the other, but then I'm missing studs (diamonds and colored), jackets, danglies (mahenge spinels, topaz), pendants, and the misc.

You must love color so much.
Do you have an emotional reaction to some colors?
I certainly do.
The orangy pink and paraíba blue-green colored stones can take me away on a mind trip, and I don't even do recreational drugs.
