PS has wonderful threads on which to share photos of bling and 'furbabies'.
I've spent more hours on those threads than I care to admit! :shhh:

I'm hoping some of you will share photos of scenes where you live or have travelled.
This is selfish on my part; I love seeing beautiful creatures, nature and scenery.

I'll start by sharing some photos I took yesterday with my new camera.
Disclaimer: photo issues are 'operator-errors', not 'subject-related'.

I am sick of winter and I want my yard back. Purple/pink bee balm and two different trees w/honeysuckle vines on them. We never planted orange ones..we had hot pink, red, yellow. They've combined and now they're all orange-- now two start white, turn yellow, then orange. A couple others start hot pink and turn orange. A couple of them have an *incredible* scent. Others don't. Crazy!

ETA why sideways???

Some shots snapped out at sea. I'm sparing everyone most of my sea life pics

Jordyonbass, I was hoping you'd share some photos! Thank you!

That's a double-rainbow, isn't it?!?! I'm so excited I'm breaking the 'one only exclamation point/question mark rule'.

Great shots of the marlin!

OK, you must have an underwater camera for that last shot.

Packrat,

Thank you for simultaneously sharing photos and bringing summer back! :appl:

I love honeysuckle and hostas.
Although, in my case, its probably because they've survived my lack of gardening skills and still manage to return each year. :D

My honeysuckle grows over an arbour, but I love seeing your honeysuckle grow up your tree! Beautiful!

Thanks! :wavey:

No prob! And yes it was one of those elusive double rainbows, unfortunately we didn't find the pot of gold at the end of it that day.

I didn't want to litter this thread with pics of fish we have caught but some of them just look so beautiful in the pics, the little Black Marlin is dull in comparison. A mate of mine has some amazing pictures of fish he has caught from the Great Barrier Reef.
I thought the underwater shots would be cool to put in this thread, here is another of the fish as the hook removal surgery took place. We used a GoPro Hero3 to take the underwater shots of the fish and generally use them for all our filming onboard as well.

I wanna play! Packrat has me wanting to relive summer, too. Here are a couple shots I took of flowers from my neighbor's garden and mine.

Ahhh Monnie, gorgeous! Flowers and plants make me feel so good and soothed when I see them.

DF, thank you! :wavey:

Jordy-love those ocean pictures! Do you happen to have any shark ones?

Hey packrat :wavey:

I used to have a bunch but I have lost track of them all unfortunately. I do have some but not all of them are what you would call 'HD Glamour shots'.

Monarch64, beautiful! Thanks for encouraging me to start this thread and contributing the gorgeous flower shots! I love macro shots that allow one to appreciate the incredible detail and patterning in life. :appl:

Some desert dwellers - javelinas, quail, vinegaroon, and rattlesnake.

Sundial,

Those are wonderful photos! Of the four creatures mentioned, I'm only familiar with quail and rattlesnake. I love learning about different creatures. :appl:

And those rugged mountains in the background of the quail photo are stunning!

I love mountains. We have some nearby but they're very old, so we call them 'hills'.

May I ask the location of the photos? Were these taken in the US?

Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos! :wavey:

Niel, those are great! Love the detail visible in the moth photo! He's close enough to be winking at you.

Thanks for posting!

Everyone is so talented and multi-faceted. :appl:

Jordy, love the shark photos!

Just another day at the office, right? :D

Wow, what a joy to see everyone's beautiful pics.
Lots of talent here.

Sorry I can't contribute to this nature/wildlife pic thread.
We seem to never escape our concrete urban jungle. :knockout:

Kenny, you contribute a lot of hairy bear pics so I don't wanna hear your excuses. Show us some tomato worms or something.
