How was the hike? It''s way too cold to hike here now..


Anyway, how is this week going everyone? So far I''ve been doing ok. Drinking more water which is good, but still eating a ton of left over desserts.

But luckily I go back to my college apt on Friday so I guess I''ll reign myself in without the yummy desserts around.

Thanks Sarah! I''m actually wearing SKINNY PANTS today. Ok, so they are the skinniest of my skinny pants and they are still a bit tight, but they are two sizes smaller than the ones I was wearing this time last year.

We hiked last night to scout out the trail for the hike I''m leading on Saturday, but the trail was all torn up from the rain we had a few weeks ago and there were a bunch of trees down on the way. Guess I''ve got to find a new trail for my group hike on Saturday... As of now I''m hiking Saturday evening and all day Sunday so hopefully I''ll burn lots and lots of calories. I''m excited about getting out and moving again - when I''m active I feel so much better overall. I don''t crave sweets or fried foods as much and am much more likely to make healthy choices. I dislike exercizing, but the hiking just feels great!
 
Well I''ve put myself on a calorie budget (we''ll see how that works because I''ve never been to partial to budgets!) but I stuck with it yesterday and today is going well too. I worked out yesterday and brought everything to go today. The Y is crazy right now with everyone and their new year''s resolutions, but I just focus on getting in and doing my workout and getting out. Luckily I still have all most my workouts from my former trainer, so I''m going to try to get into doing those again. I seem to do much better when I have planned workouts! So, Day 2, but so far so good!
 
I just started my weight loss plan. tone my arms by work on the 3lbs dumbbells every night before I sleep starting from last weekend. surprisingly, I lost 3 solid pounds since then due to stresses. and watch my diet.

More importantly, warned my lovely parents and FPIL and Fi not to bring/show me good food from their afternoon tea (my FMIL loves treating me good food

). drink lots of water while eating.

Good luck all and lets work hard together to look our best on the big days.
