This ROUND Lab Grown manmade diamond price chart shows changes in diamond prices since we began listing these diamonds in 2020 on PriceScope. Note large price drops after several large Indian diamond cutting firms began producing CVD diamonds from around 2023.
The source is real live data of the more than 1.2 million lab diamonds listed on PriceScope at the time of writing. There are two main categories of listings: Inhouse lab diamonds are often pre-screened for quality and are either owned by the vendor listing them or the vendor has exclusive rights to sell them online. Virtual lab diamonds listed by some of our vendors are often drop shipped. Prices of most of these diamonds are set by Business to Business listings with vendors typically adding a smaller margin. More care should be taken when selecting virtual stones.
