I've decided to list another pair of huggies for sale. I tried on some monstrous ones with 40pt's at my local jeweller's and I just *have* to have them!!

So anyway, here are the 18 pt huggies:

7) Pair of huggies, IDEAL cut, F colour, VS clarity: super-super sparkly, super-white and super-clean and incredibly comfortable on the ears. There are ten melee of approx 0.18 pt each (five melee on each earring), making a total of 1.84ctw. Settings in 18k WG. Asking $2,400 OBO. Again, any of the freebies (except maybe the jackets since they should be priced about $1k) is up for grab.

ETA: I'd like to gift the jackets to the person who spends the most money, ie. the one buying the 1.218ct diamond, or if you buy 2 or more of the other items - again first come first served.

Do you feel the proportions are good and are you happy with it? Does it sit well with you? I only ask because ever since DH got me the big blingy hoops, I never wear my 1.08 carat each studs. I was thinking of making it a three stone ring down the road with my 2.7? I have no idea what else to do with them. I already had other diamond studs so it's a ring or nothing! You're the only one I know who has a ring similar to those proportions and you are my jewelry sister so I know you'll definitely have opinions!!!

I can't wait to see what you get with the proceeds from all these yummy pieces!!!!

Yeah, which 3-stone ring? He he...Okay, the latest one has a 2.374ct centre and 1.5ct each sides (so not 1ct each sides). It's actually a bit too much (lol, I can't believe that I'm actually saying it..me..Phoenix with a penchant for all bling big and beautiful!! ). It's kind of "loud" actually. I do love big bling as long as it's tastefully done and elegant, which is *exactly* what my new VC ring is and what my 3-stone ring is not.

I absolutely *adore* three -stone rings and have gone back and forth on many iterations and have in the end decided that slightly larger sides (around 1ct each) is BEST combination on MY own fingers (though of course there are plenty of other proportions that also look gorgeous, so this is just my personal taste). It gives you plenty of bling coverage whilst at the same time still manages to look subdue and classy, iykwim? I love your new solitaire but if you wanna reset it and use the studs, this is absolutely the way to go! I *hate* having things sitting around doing nothing so vote that you go this route.

Because of that, I am better off ordering from vendors with return policies, but my nature is to want to buy the best second hand because who doesn't love a good deal!!! I thought they might be too big, But once I saw the pics, I thought they might be fine. I think you will be so glad you got this size!!! Please post new pics when you get them!!!

I am not sure I follow, sorry I'm being a bit dense! Do you mean the setting for the pendant or for a ring? At the moment, I have a "temp" solitaire ring setting that I've promised to gift to Wishingstar (which I'm going to send together with the other items). Other than that, I have the LM 3-stone ring setting but that's still holding my 3 diamonds. All the previous ones have been sent to the various vendors and I have no idea what happened to them, but they were basically not worth a lot of money and prob got scrapped (couldn't be re-used).

If you could be a bit more specific, I could look around and see what else I have, but I just can't think of anything right now. Sorry.

Here are pics of one of the "freebies", the diamond jackets.

These used to hold my 0.60ct each centre diamonds. I suspect they can hold diamonds up to 0.70ct each (my centre diamonds used to sit very flat/ very flush with these halo'es), just depends on how flush and how high up you want your diamonds to be.

LOL about the enabling!! I love the sexy hoops on you and have thought seriously / been tempted by inside-out hoops; but unfortunately they don't look so nice on me!! I suspect it's because I have very short hair now. I used to have very long hair but had it all chopped off. Those hoops must look AMAZING on you and against your beautiful lustrous long locks.

I do love my 4ctw+ studs, but since this recent hair cut, they get hidden behind my hair and this hairstyle is such that I can't push my hair back behind my ears. Hence, the need to have something more prominent-looking without my having to fork out a lot more moohlahs!

I am looking for a ring setting for my new diamond (4.34 ct), and have not been able to pull the trigger on a setting yet. I chatted with LM about one of his custom settings, and have trolled the web at the usual PS vendors' sites, but still haven't found "the one" yet.

I just thought (since you have such a marvelous collection ) that you might have one stashed away from a previous "redo/upgrade".
It never hurts to ask, right?!

I am also looking for a pair of well cut studs in the secondary market, preferably in the 1.5-2.0 ctw range.

Nope, unfortunately I don't have any (LM) setting lying around...certainly not one that can hold a 4.34ct!! When did you get this beauty? Home come I totally missed it?!! Pictures please!! I might potentially have a LM setting later on but it's for a 3-stone ring and am sure would not be suitable for your new stone.

Sorry, I don't have any studs of that size. I may place the two 1.50caraters (totalling a little more than 3ctw), but dunno yet when that will be.
