1.218ct FSi1 BGD "blue", Tiffany Novo, huggies, pearls

I am looking for a ring setting for my new diamond (4.34 ct), and have not been able to pull the trigger on a setting yet. I chatted with LM about one of his custom settings, and have trolled the web at the usual PS vendors' sites, but still haven't found "the one" yet.

I just thought (since you have such a marvelous collection ) that you might have one stashed away from a previous "redo/upgrade".
It never hurts to ask, right?!

I am also looking for a pair of well cut studs in the secondary market, preferably in the 1.5-2.0 ctw range.

Nope, unfortunately I don't have any (LM) setting lying around...certainly not one that can hold a 4.34ct!! When did you get this beauty? Home come I totally missed it?!! Pictures please!! I might potentially have a LM setting later on but it's for a 3-stone ring and am sure would not be suitable for your new stone.

Sorry, I don't have any studs of that size. I may place the two 1.50caraters (totalling a little more than 3ctw), but dunno yet when that will be.Thanks for your kind words. I can't wait to see your new ring.

CORRECTIONS:

I was looking at the huggies,the eternity band and the pendant and realised that the melee on the huggies looked quite a bit smaller than those on the pendant and not much bigger than those on the eternity band. So I asked my local jeweller who at first was adamant that these were 5 pts. I said they couldn't be and I don't want to get slammed on PS for stating/ selling pieces with incorrect specs . So I insisted that she check again, which she eventually did. Turned out I was right, those melee on the huggies are only just over 3 pts each.

The correct specs are now as follows:

3) Diamond half-hoops or huggies: There are actually fouteen melee of just over 3 pointers (so 7 diamond melee on each, making a total weight of 0.47ctw). I had them made by my local jeweller, who tells me that the colour is F and clarity VS (they only sell E-F colour, VS clarity diamonds). The settings are in 18k WG. REVISED ASKING PRICE IS $1,000 OBO.

My apologies, folks. It was a genuine mistake; lucky I was able to spot it, before any sale was finalised.

The 1.218ct F has blue fluor and judging from another BGD "blue" I have, the fluor makes the diamond look one grade higher. The D has no fluor. Pls note also the 1.218ct is a super-ideal cut H&A stone whereas the D isn't a H&A stone, it's just ideal cut.

Ha ha, I can't believe I said the D stone is JUST ideal cut. It's a very beautiful stone, almost H&A with ideal optical performance. It has an HCA score of less than 2.

Actually, I prefer stones with faint or no fluorescence, but perhaps I could be persuaded to take a hard look at your colorless pair.

That's weird! I wonder why? Anyhow, the etenity band has 32 melee of approx 1 1/2 pt each, making a total of just under a carat. It sits very low on the finger (approx 1 1/2mm high) and is 2mm wide.
