10.3ct yellow sapphire in antique style plat halo

My collection isn’t huge anymore as I’ve taken to only keeping things I find remarkable. So don’t get excited

That was certainly my impression; I've seen you turn over a number of pieces.

But 2 remarkable pieces are better than 20 that are nothing special. So I stand by my anticipation.

So purchase to recut isn’t really a fair timeline because I wasn’t certain I was going to recut it.
However Jerry took got possession of my stone 9/13 and it was recut and back to me on a delivery date of 9/19
As for first contact to approved cads- some here know me as a very particular cad reviewer- and I had to go through a few cads to get it right.
Also “first contact” was more so to see what the price would be - I stil hasnt worked everything out.
However, he responded to my email same day when I reached out. He received my parcel on Jan 28, got my first cad for this halo on Jan 31, final approval on Feb 8. Finished photos on Feb 24.

It’s a page from an old book. It’s drawings of all sorts of different gems.
I wish I could draw lol. I just think it’s nice background
