Awwww Sweetie, I know exactly how you feel! On our 7 year anniversary a couple of months back I was POSITIVE that it was proposal day. I was getting really excited but then realised that SO wasn''t acting strangely or secretively at all..... I tried to hint out of him if something special was going to happen and said one day,"I''ll have to go shopping later." He asked why and I pretended I didn''t want him to know but it was to buy his present. Then he said something like, "Why, we aren''t bothering with presents are we?" I felt really down as he didn''t seem bothered about the aniversary at all BUT I still thought it was an act and a ring was on the way.

Anyway, the night before our anni I came down with a sickness bug and spent the whole weekend in bed! The anni passed wihtout me even realising, needless to say, no proposal!! I was so ill I never mentioned it and I sort of got over it then, but it is so disappointing!!

I so knew you would be sweetie! I reckon we could knock over a few strawberry dacquiris together! They are my favorite - my sis is awesome at making them so she is the "dacquiri factory'' for Sat night, and she will keep my supply of the good stuff coming - she is great!!!

Thanks sparkalicious - you are so right! If you pop back over to my bday thread you will see that he really tried hard and made my bday very special for me. He''s such an angel.
