1st Dress Fitting. Nervous! Lots of Pics tho!

Beautiful dress! It sounds like between the new undergarments and waiting until August you have it all under control. The only thing I see is that the dress might be a tiny bit too short with 4'' heels. It''s hard to tell in the pictures, but you may want to let the dress out some.

I think you are right. The dress rests right on the tip on my toe. Is this ok? The 4in heels are for the ceremony only. Fiance is 14 inches taller than me. As in I''m 5''4", he''s 6''6". But the receptions shoes will be shorter, so it may be a good length to accommodate both!

I''m actually all in favor of showing some shoe, so I think the hem is perfectly fine--I think it is where it should be. I assume you are going to use that rich red as one of your wedding colors? That will be a lovely play off your dress!

Yes! We are using that color. The girls dresses are that color and black, the guys in variations of red and black. The groom in all black. The centerpieces and flowers are all fall colors (red, yellow, orange, green).

The girls dresses are below. Pre-alteration. They are having straps made (not the bra straps in the pic!)

btw I love that color red for your bm''s dresses! Very pretty! We went with navy and platinum for ours.
