#JOTW 2.12 K CBI solitaire

It's wonderful. That stone is amazing. I cannot wait for you to post many more photos of it please, especially with your lovely photography skills!

And that setting. That's my favourite solitaire setting of all time honestly, I have seen it on here one other time and used it to inspire my current setting. It's glorious and I'm kinda jealous!

Gorgeous!!! I really like your solitaire setting, too! As you know, mine has been in a temporary solitaire for 6.5 years now, so it's a good thing if you like the setting and are indecisive like me! :lol:

Aside from knowing you love the new diamond, of course, how does it feel going back to a modern round after having antique cuts? I'd like to have both, but I am not giving up my AVR to do it!

Some pics! The fire this thing throws is amazing. I went out to dinner last night with friends and it was by candlelight and this stone was on FIRE. All my friends wanted to look at it up close.

It feels great! As you know, my first modern round was a very good cut, so this is a whole new experience. LOL! I really do like this setting- and it's so easy to clean because I can get to the whole stone.
 
Yes, people will notice and ask you about your diamond.

Tell us more about what you see with this as opposed to the other diamonds you have owned.

I suppose you saw last night how it nearly glows in the dark with sparkle— it will find the tiniest bit of light and suck it in.
 
It’s stunning! What a beautiful diamond!! The fire of CBIs make them so much fun. Your diamond is surprisingly white even in profile. I love the setting, was it the final Stuller you mentioned you were getting in your previous thread? (There were several iterations of Stuller six prong recommendations.) Enjoy!

IMO, This is the best lighting condition for testing its cut quality.
 
So pretty! And I don’t think you should change the setting. It is gorgeous I’m that particular solitaire mounting. Let it be the main event. You have such a beautiful diamond. If you want more bling, get a diamond band. Regardless, enjoy, congrats, very happy for you.
