2.22 studs from HPD!

Gorgeous! Yay! They look perfect on you! Studs are so incredibly classic and beautiful. I recently got studs too and love them so much. You are absolutely right in that they can go with jeans or a cocktail dress or anything in between! (Or when wearing nothing at all! :-o)

Thanks, @yssie ! They are pretty spectacular. I am lucky enough to live near a CBI retailer, so I got to see some CBIs In person for the first time a few years ago. I was blown away. They are super fiery. These stones are the same way. Put them in a sunbeam and you need sunglasses!

The mind clean thing was harder at first with the SI2, honestly. But I really can’t see anything. And it helps tremendously that HPD has that incredible trade up/buy back policy, so if it ever should bother me, I can change them. That gave me a tremendous amount of confidence in going with SI2s. (Weird, isn’t it?)

Thanks so much, @SandyK ! Isn’t it weird how you can go your whole life without thinking about the size of your earlobes until you buy studs? I am really grateful now! The rest of me is not tiny—I’m tall and my ring size is a 6.5 on my left and a 7 on my right. So I’m glad something is tiny!

I was thinking about your watch search for your hubby the other day. My hope is that perhaps demand will go down a bit as a result of COVID-19 and some of these stainless sports watches will be easier to find. (Is that realistic? Not sure). I can tell you I still LOVE my Submariner date, and my husband loves his as well. Those watches are tanks. So stylish, and they go with everything. From what I understand, you might have an easier time finding an Explorer, but ask your hubby if he would like the style of the Sub or the all black GMT better. (It was the Pepsi GMT you were trying to find, yes?)

Thank you, @RunningwithScissors ! Studs are just the best. I started wearing mine non stop (daytime only, though) when my kids were babies and grabby. Without meaning to, it has become kind of my signature look. I feel naked without my studs!

I have followed your CBI journey and love the pieces you have collected. Dainty is the stuff of dreams. Swoon.

That doesn’t sound weird at all! I feel the same way - when a vendor has confidence to stand behind his goods, I’ve got confidence in both that vendor and his wares :appl:

What backs do you have?
 
They are jumbo push backs. That is what I had on my old studs and it seems to be what works well to keep earrings from drooping on me. I was intrigued by the idea of le pousette (not sure if that’s how you spell it) backs because they look very comfy, but wasn’t sure if they would have the same anti-droop effect.

While I do like these settings, it will be interesting over the long run to see how they go. They keep the diamonds cleaner to begin with, but it is harder to get at the pavilions of the stones when cleaning them. If I ever reset, I could see going back to a martini for ease of cleaning. However, I really like that these don’t dig into my piercing, and I love the way they keep the outline of the stones round instead of vaguely triangular as can sometimes happen with martinis.

Thank you, @missy ! I have really enjoyed these. Studs are such a part of my daily uniform that I have worn them EVERY single day since I’ve gotten them! They are truly fabulous. My only regret is that I cannot see them without a mirror! I occasionally take one off and put it on my hand to stare. Totally normal behavior, right? :lol:

Thanks, @Gussie ! I feel lucky that my earlobes are on the smaller side. I’ve always been jealous of ladies with tiny ring sizes who make a smaller carat size solitaire look giant....I suppose this is the stud equivalent? At any rate, I will take it!

I meant to ask....what does @LLJsmom have in the works? A studs project? That would be exciting!!!! If so, my enthusiastic recommendation is to call Wink!

Absolute perfection!! You are living my dream! Someday I’d love to have CBI studs to match my CBI e-ring and the CBI pendant my fiancé is having made as a wedding gift. I agree with you- I don’t have any prob with SI clarity when it comes to CBI’s!
