Price is quite similar, the bigger one is up by a couple thousand. Looking at the pictures the 2.40 is more yellow and has the smaller crushed ice look while the 2.51 is slightly less yellow but has a the small table/higher crown combo, and MAYBE more edge to edge larger sparkle, especially on the edges. Stones are very comparable, I'm leaning towards the 2.40 carat but just wanted your guys thoughts. Setting is going to be a micropave halo.

The 2.4 ct FY. I would talk to DBL to clarify that what we presumed is true in person, given that he has the stones in hand.

Yea David confirmed that the 2.40 is more yellow. From 1-10, he said its like an 8, while the 2.51 is like a 6

I;m sure they are both lovely on their own. I like the color of the 2.4 better.

What about the light performance (how sparkly)?
Verify that it is eye clean.

Yes, he said both light performances very nice. The 2.4 is more like the crushed ice look, lots of small flashes. While the 2.51 is a smaller table, high crown combo with bigger flashes. The 2.51 might look a bit better on the edges.

Both eye-clean.

I prefer the look of the 2.51 but I also generally like a less saturated stone and I like the chunky optics as opposed to crushed ice for a ring. Either stone is lovely it's just a matter of personal preference.

I like the left one on the finger it looks a couple of colour grades higher due to the crushed ice affect.
