How long was the turnaround from LM?

LM received the asscher on March 14th. Today is May 25th - it was finished earlier this week - so about 10 weeks. But I wasn''t in a rush.

How''d you like the show? I''m sorry, I have no idea how thick the bands are exactly. With my little ruler, the arms are a little more than 1 mm. After they join, they are around 2.5 mm. Don''t quote me though....

Thanks FireGoddess! I actually bought the stone from WF.

I struggled between having WF set the stone, or have LM do the work. WF was more affordable, and I kinda felt like I was drinking PS Kool-Aid by deciding to go with LM. So many people are in love with LM, but I was unsure. It was really a leap of faith. I''m thrilled with the ring!

I know WF would have done a great job too, but there is an incredible delicacy to LM''s work - I''m not sure that can be replicated.

Starry it''s absolutely fabulous! What a gorgeous stone to start with and the setting is perfect. Really, really perfect. It looks fantastic on you. I think that split shank is an awesome setting choice for the asscher. Simply lovely. Congratulations!!!

Hi Sharon! You''re right - I AM thrilled. It''s even more delicate than I envisioned. I didn''t think it was possible, but the micro-pave is incredible!

That ring is perfection, Starry! Your e-ring must be spectacular if it looks better than this one! I have to say this is near the top of my list for a RHR. I do want a sapphire and diamond 3 stone, but this split shank with an asscher is the other top choice.

Hi CB. I''m not sure, but we made a deal. I will not give any info about the design, nor the final price. We made this deal when he sent me pictures.

I can understand if he''s been having to argue pricing lately, but I don''t know.

Yipeee!! I am so glad I checked back in with this thread this evening. We just came from a friends''s BBQ and I had some time on my hands. And WOW!! Starry your ring is gorgeous!!! Just gorgeous. I absolutely love the craftmanship and the style of it all!

BTW - I totally understand about the fingerprints. My Dad has done that a couple of times and innerwardly I am like "EEEK" but I say nothing so as not to be offensive.
