I tried that one on dh. I asked him if we could down-grade my Lexus SUV to a Honda or Toyota mini-SUV so that I could get my ring upgrade.....he didn''t go for it. He said that cars actually have a function, rings don''t.Date: 10/12/2005 4:51:28 PM

LynnB, you''re partly to blame for my 2.2ct+ diamond craving lately.

Oh dear! Shame on me!
Well, DSS (Diamond Shrinkage Syndrome) is a very real thing - believe me! And while I hate to be locked into anythingthe more I live with my 2.36, the more I love it, and the more I think that this may very well be *it* for me.
I notice EVERYONE''S diamonds and I have yet (in my real life!) to see even one that comes CLOSE to this one. It''s gorgeous, and it''s a great size. And sure, if money were no object, I''d probably have a honkin'' 5 or 6 carat stone... but unfortunatelymoney IS an object. And there''s lots of other (necessary) things to be spending it on!
I don''t think my old stone (1.53) could have ever been my ''forever'' stone... but this one? Yeah... maybe!
