~2ct OMC earrings

Simply beautiful! I love the settings!

(pssst: culet... not cutlet ;))

Dreamer: thank you! And gosh ( ) thank you for the correction too!

cutlet: a slice of meat, especially of veal, for broiling or frying

This is when I whip out the "English is not my first language" line, though after all this time it's no excuse

FI helped me to get a flower shot and an ear shot in one picture :D

Just blame it on autotext or autocorrect or autocomplete or whatever that thingie is ! If it's not, no one but you will ever know.

Too bad there aren't cutlets that make diamonds look bigger like the cutlets you can put in your bra to plump things up a bit.

Thanks Confection ::) The majority of the setting is silver. The prongs are 14K yellow gold, the ear wires are yellow gold, and there is also some gold attached to the back of the silver setting.

Gorgeous Gorgeous Gorgeous Yumminess! :cheeky: :appl:

They take a bow 8-)

And for the record those look HUGE on your ear!

Yeah, these are fabulous! What a pair of earrings to own! I LOVE them!!

Those are absolute dream earrings! And they look spectacular on you. Wow!!!!

Gemfever, silver makes sense why that pair looks so "antiquegoddess" :lickout:

Beautiful earrings!

After a year of owning them, do you feel they are secure and what is that style of setting called? Is it still a leverback?

Bravo!! :appl: :appl: They are gorgeous and I can see why you probably won't wear anything else for quite a while!! They look HUGE on your ears! Congrats on your new earrings!

Sarahbear -- Huge, yup  I am so glad they are in these simple antique settings, which give them an understated look. I think most people who see me have no idea they're diamonds. I'm very comfortable keeping it this way.

Thanks FancyPantsSparkles! :))

Rosebloom, thank you!

Confection, I *love* the antique look of the settings. I keep wanting to set another diamond in blackened silver... but darnit, at the moment I don't have any spare diamonds for the project

kitsunegrl -- I love the setting. They are very comfortable, and I feel they are pretty secure. I think this kind of setting is called kidney wire? If you look at the pics on the first page, these also have a little triangular clasp for added security. I still physically check once or twice a day that the earrings are hanging properly & clasped, to make sure they don't somehow slip out. And I take them off at night.

Thanks Yenny! ::) These have been with me for almost a year now, but I feel as giddy about them as the day I saw them :cheeky: Let me now roll eyes at myself, too much cheese! I dunno, I love 'em!

Lovely pair. Congrats!

You two are lovely, and so are you earrings!!! They look very substantial!!! Congrats!! :appl:
