Yeah as much as there are very dark sides to consumerism, I have to admit a day at the mall with my friends, window shopping and snacking on Auntie Ann pretzels and frozen yogurt and dipping in and out of stores to look around is such a guilty pleasure.

Thanks! Hoping it’ll look even better when set. Whenever that’ll be. I don’t mind waiting though, it’s for good reasons!
 
Gaaaahhh. City under shelter at home until June now. Happy that we’re being prudent. But also impatient to complete this project. Obviously the former takes priority and I fully support it but I just wanted to whine a little. :p

But I did just get these lovely Hanadama pearls and gray pearls from Yssie and upgraded from my red thread bracelet to this pearl look! On a temp wire for now while I wait for my elastic thread to arrive.

That's amazing! The colours complement each other so well and you know any pearls from @yssie will be the cream of the crop!

Haha yeah for a cat I found in the forest he’s so so tolerant of me and my shenanigans. Then again considering he doesn’t contribute anything towards rent or food and I clean his litter box, I suppose sitting still for some photos isn’t that onerous a task in exchange for a cushy indoor cat life and he knows it. Haha. Of course I’d love him all the same if he didn’t let me.

I may do that if I get my diamond finally set in its MoP home lol. Right now the elastic is just so convenient for taking the bracelet on and off haha.

I did get some red and black leather cord as well just to play around with.

I don’t know when the journey will be complete and the piece completed since my jeweler (very appropriately in my opinion) is in no rush to return to the city. But I’m enjoying the journey immensely so that takes the edge off the wait!

Argggg. Let the anxiety begin! My jeweler was in town to pick up some other things so we did hand off of the diamond and MoP setting. I’m gonna be a nervous mess until it’s done and back home with me! Might be a bit since I need to wait until when she’s back in town cause usps has been having delays. But im crossing all fingers and toes that all goes smoothly!

In the mean time I continue to enlist my cat in jewelry photography

I didn’t know either until on a lark while looking for gray colored gems I came across some!

Ughhh the jeweler is having some issues with the MoP glue and the gold. I’m dying of anxiety and anticipation over here.
