Somebody went to the hockey game yesterday and a sparkle broke out in the stands!!!

WOW - what arena lighting can do for a diamond --- is INSANE!! The lady behind me thought I was nuts, initially, taking pics of my ring - until she asked to see it then she said, "I'd be taking pics of it everywhere, too!" uh Huh! (I did not tell her about PS - she was drooling too much on my jacket, she'd just KILL her computer! LMAO!!!)

Thank you VR - and yes, there sure is a lot of memories in here!! I really feel like this ring is extra special to me! It is a completely PS created production! I had the superior assistance of Dreamer to find it, Dougsgirl was with me when I chose the setting, I got to meet 3 fantastically awesome PS vendors along the journey and I can share it all with everyone here!! AND --- I picked it up when I was on a very special trip just my second son and I, together in Las Vegas - woo hoo!! That trip and this ring will always be so special to me!!! Oh, I'm getting a bit emotional as I type all of that....

Good_luxe_girl, JuneRose, Rosetta and Alene - Thank you all so much!! I am very happy with it! And I do feel that the missing melee won't be an issue. I got out my loupe last night and had a browse, I think when I do send it back, I will ask for ALL stones to be inspected (which I'm sure they would do anyway, to prevent another loss) but I'm going to specifically ASK for sure this time.

Great choice! Looks so nice! Can't wait to see it in person tomorrow!

Awe, that's so sweet that you come back and visit with her!! I'm going to play in the sun today and see if I can get some fire shots... I'm glad that being exposed to photography does NOT silently eat away at diamonds... cuz if that were the case, pretty soon this would be a .001 stone!

I have no idea!! I was kind of stunned when I was on site, but now that its here, I will have to ask who it is made by. It has this really cool woven detail in the undermount - I'll have to go and take a picture and post it - I can't believe I haven't done that one yet!

Thank you regarding the style of the setting! I think it will be a classic that can go thru years without looking "2012" in nature!

you are not helping at all! I have a feeling when I walk in I might just blow my budget and actually be happy about it!

Do you have any suggestions on where I can look at/try on big bling? I am contemplating a 4 -5 carat but am not sure how low I can go down color wise. I would feel bad having IDJ or DBL call in stones when we are not ready to buy at this point!

tee hee --- well, I think its your civic duty to just enjoy the experience and share all the sparkly details with us!! Leave the plastic at home (--- you can always phone it in later) -

Definitely call ahead and let whom ever you'd like to meet with, what you are looking at, budget and time line - you just never know what might work out!

SO excited to see your little beauty get her own thread!! She deserves it!!
I just have to say, again, what an honor it was to be part of this journey with you... especially during the crazy hurricane, closed subways, boarded up shops, dangling crane... What a TRIP!!
And THEN to just HAPPEN to run in to you an hour before we left for the airport... now THAT was just a blessing and a blast! You are just as beautiful, energetic, fun and delightful in person as you appear on PS. It was SO FUN to finally meet someone who shares my passion for bling... and it was good for my hubby to realize that I am not the only crazy one out there!!

Tee hee - such a novel idea!! So, direct from the man himself, it is one of their IDJ collection that he gets from a variety of suppliers, but if you are interested in it and you ask for Enerchi's ring - he'll know EXACTLY which one it is!

Thanks stargurl!!! I love the buttery colour too - it was my goal to have that contrast played up, no matter what setting I chose! I am very happy with this setting - it really is just perfect! I've been wearing it along with my IDJ 1/2 eternity and it is this amazing WALL OF FLASH! I love it! no such thing as 'too much sparkle', IMHO! Must take a pic of that and get around to posting here.... oh - and I have to show off the underside of this mount - I love the woven detail on it!
