Wowza. I loooove the proportions - the glorious center is still queen of the ball!

Tiffany 3-stone Diamond Ring

Is there a photo of your ring somewhere? I don't see it here. Would love to see from top and side!

Rfisher, I'm getting ready to reset my diamond in a three stone, and I see you have 8 prongs. Can you show me a photo of that ring from the side (front?) so I can see the way it is set? Thank you!

I’d love to hear/see what you currently have, and what’s your plans? Exciting!

Here’s plenty of photos - hope it helps

And here’s another show me your 3-stone thread, if you haven’t seen it already

I thought I added mine here but I guess I never did.

1.92 L VS2 OEC/transitional with .62ctw side OECs

8.07-8.17mm center with 4.3mm sides in case anyone is trying to figure out 3-stone ratios.

That's beautiful! May I see the 8 prong setting from the side? I'm getting ready to order a 3 stone and am nervous to have the center stone just in 4 prongs, because of hitting the girdle of my diamond from the front or back. My center stone is 2.16 round, doing 1 carat on each side.

Here is mine. I absolutely love it. I have generally leaned towards halos and airline bezels. This is surprisingly pleasing to my eye. I always admired 3 stones but ended up on different paths. I absolutely love the old cuts.

2.16 N OEC
8.02mm X 8.14mm X 5.24mm

Side Stones:

2 1.13 ST VS OECs

Total finger coverage is around 22mm. Each stones is held by 8 prongs in a crown setting.

This is very similar to what I'm looking to do! My center is also 2.16, 8.31-8.37mm, and I'm looking at putting 1.01's on each side that are 6.5mm. I love this 8 prong setting! It really protects the girdle of the stones. I'd be fine with 6 prong too, I'm glad you showed this from the side, it's great inspiration!

Thank you so much! I love your setting! And I'm just headed to that other 3-stone thread, this is all so inspiring!

Hi! Sure here are some pics. I’m actually currently getting my 3 stone redone with bigger side stones in the 6.6-6.7mm range so our rings might be similar proportion wise. I’m also trying to go with 4 double claw prongs this time around. Your jeweler will know the best course of action for your particular diamond. 9FD59A96-1EB1-4EB1-85F9-E46D116211F2.jpeg5B0AD2DA-33D0-4D55-B2A8-C95E813CB2CC.jpeg72FDF845-2609-4A36-B28A-EB5586CB4FED.jpeg08FB4D68-B504-46F3-A7D9-9ACBD19D8454.jpeg

Ok. We’ve been waiting a while for this one! It deserves its own thread with like a gazillion pics!

Can’t believe I get to contribute to this thread.

I love it soooo much! Keep posting more pics!

I don’t get around here very often anymore with work, family & other goings-on, so I never created a SMTB thread when I received this back from Whiteflash in October — major fail on my part. :doh:But popping on for a little ‘bling-spiration’ for another project, and figured I’d at least get her added to this thread with so many beautiful 3-stone sparklers!

Last fall, I upgraded my 2.10 ct K-ACA (8.25mm) - the ring in my avatar - to a 2.57 ct K-ACA (8.85mm), added two .5ct J-GIA XXX (5mm) sides; and, modified the WF Butterflies gallery, added tab-ish/semi-bezel outer ‘prongs’ & a little WF ACA pave down the sides. Here she is ... in delicious 18K unplated WG splendor.

Oh! My! This is absolutely beautiful! I love that you modified the butterfly to add to tab like prongs on the side stones.
But you do know that since you’re here... you gotta make an SMTB! Please! It’s too beautiful to be lost in the shuffle of the 3 stone thread! It needs its own!
