Going with this setting- 18k yellow gold band with a platinum head. They’re going to get the prongs as small as possible. Definitely won’t be as large as in this photo! Lol!

I tried the wax on and it’s super low profile- feels so elegant and understated.

not a fan of the prongs. You did post this in the Rocky Talk forum so I assume you're looking for honest opinions. Love the
stone though!

Funny you say this, because when I saw the ring the first thing I said was “the prongs are too big” but she talked me into them because she says the stone is extra safe with these prongs. I am actually hoping to have it reset this summer by a guy who is a master at this stuff. Hoping he can get the prongs smaller.

I have a long-legged stone enroute too, so your ring gives me all the feels too! I don’t see many stones that are over a LW ratio of 1.5!
