Aww... Happy Anniversary to you both! Your wedding set is stunning!!

Congratulations! A love like yours is what I aspire to, but at this point he and I would have to live to 90. Something to aim for I guess. :P2

Your set is unique yet classic at the same time - the holly is so memorable! And the Leon band goes perfectly!

The first and most important is a gorgeous solitaire - a 1.09 E SI1, 1/9 representing our anniversary, and we looked long and hard to find a stone with those numbers and perfect dimensions.

Too bad you didn't marry in November or December.

Congratulations on your 40th! And on the lovely commemoration -- wear them in good health!

What a wonderful ring @mrs-b ! Congratulations on this important anniversary and on 40 amazing years with your DH!

Beautiful! I love the collar on the shank! And not using yellow gold, Mrs. B? I feel like this is such a shift from your usual pieces? Love it!

Beautiful! Congratulations to 40 years! Here is to many more!!

:kiss2:Congratulations on 40 years of happiness with mr-b. :kiss2:
He is a lucky guy and you are a lucky gal!

I hear you, @MissGotRocks - and congratulations on a big 48!! I'd take any number of years under any circumstances - but I would loooove to hit the big 50!!

Oooh - thank you for spotting that, @Dreamer_D - versatility was a big thing for me and I wanted a ring I could wear in all sorts of different situations. I hope you're getting endless enjoyment from your gorgeous 5 stone!!

Thanks so much, @dk168!

Hey there, @Autumn in New England! :wavey: I'm so pleased with it - the combo is really satisfying. I still wear my Beloved most of all, but this new ring, paired with my 25th anniversary ring, scratches a bunch of different itches - apart from being a beautiful commemorative piece. Hugs to you!

@EllieTO - my parents only had 25 years together before my mother died, so 40 years is more than I had ever hoped for. We were in the car together the other day and I said to him "I'm not sick of you at all! Are you sick of me yet?" And he said "Nope!" - and there we were - 40 years in and still in love. :)) And I'm glad you like the design!

Thank you so much, @LilAlex! I think jewelry is the perfect way to commemorate special events - something unique and beautiful and precious - to commemorate something beyond unique and beautiful and precious. <3

Thank you so much, @Natylad! And - how are you doing these days? I hope your health is wonderful and that you're full of joy and energy! ox

@TruLuv858 - you are dead on the money when you say this is a shift - and a very intentional one at that. I try to keep my pieces balanced between the 2 metal colors so I have full sets of things to go with all sorts of outfits. But in this case, I already had the eternity - from our 25th anniversary - so I wanted this to match. I feel like they're complementary in style, and I wanted something with an ever-so-slightly old world feel. By the way - have I ever told you how much I ADORE your profile photo set??! Lordy - be still my heart!!

Thank you, @cushioncutnut! I really am thrilled with how it turned out...in the end!! Initially, I was sort of just thrashing around in the shallows, trying to get it to where I wanted it to be. But we got there in the end - mostly due to a huge amount of patience by Amy Phillips. I can be a very *not* easy customer on occasion, and I really went at this project saying "This is my 40th anniversary piece - it has to be PERFECT!" That sort of pressure from the get-go doesn't make anything easier!!

Congratulations @mrs-b and mr-b on 40 years! Your new anniversary ring is just lovely! In fact, I love all your pieces and the stories behind them.

I love the way you set the diamond and the symbolism of the piece. Congratulations on 40 years. It's quite an accomplishment (especially if neither of you are sick of the other =)2)

Thank you so much, @Rubies-R-Me! it's been a wonderful ride and I hope it continues for many years to come. :kiss2:

Thank you, @BoulderGal. Jewelry, for me, has been what is often the equivalent to photos for others. I can tell you when I received every piece I own, and what it represents. So each one is meaningful and precious to me. :))

Hallo, @Lookinagain! To be honest, I never expected 40 years with anyone! But the years just stack up, one after one, and it's been such a pleasure watching the number grow. It's definitely one of the things I'm most proud of in my life. <3 I hope all is well with you!

I meant to say "anniversary set," not wedding! :twirl: Anyway, you know what I meant. lol The quality and creative-yet-classic look is in line with the rest of your gorgeous collection. Happy 40th (and 42nd) again, my friend... and hugs back!!
