No Problem! Yes you can. Most companies have a limit on how much tho. Most gem dealers in Thailand that I have worked with request the buyer not to insure a stone that is being returned. I think this is because of the customs fees.

Amazing photography which can only be done when the subjects are amazing themselves. I love the black and white of the formal wear but the casual wear boat pictures are so natural. My favourite is the one where I can only see shoes peeking up above the boat/canoe. It's a whimsical shot. Of course, I did see the shocking blue of the ring but it was only in a select few pictures. Need MORE ring shots! You two are an incredibly youthful and fun couple. Congrats on the upcoming wedding.

I am a total lurker, have been for many years, but this thread is the kind that makes me have to speak up because it made my heart flutter. Your dedication to finding perfection for the one you love and the sheer joy that comes through in your posts is intoxicating. 1. Who did you buy the first two stones from that you said were heated despite being advertised as otherwise?

Chrono- Thank you my friend! We wanted to include two of our favorite things in the photo shoot. Dressing up and the Water. We both grew up on the water so it was a must to include it somehow. You are not alone many people have expressed that they love the feet out of the boat picture. The photographer did get some better rings shots but unfortunately us humans in the picture didn't look that great. :blackeye:

PursuitOfBling- Legend??? Ok my pride likes that a little I guess haha! Thank you very much. Ok the first stone was purchased from Gemburionline. It is one of Tan's stores but I think he changed the name of it. In hind sight I found out that Tan was going through some rough times when I bought that stone from him so I might have given him a second chance if I had known that. The second stone was actually Gemsthailand. The same store that I bought the final stone from. I was so impressed with how they handled the mistake I felt comfortable making a 2nd purchase.

After 200+ posts I truly can't think of anything original to say except that I hope this is the most wonderful weekend of your life (so far) and that you'll have wonderful memories to carry with you forever. Congratulations on a perfect ring, beautiful photos and what I hope is a most memorable wedding and honeymoon!

For the two stones that were advertised as unheated, but turned out heated, did they both come with AIGS or another other certification that stated that they were unheated? Or was it purely an assessment from the seller itself?

Laila619 Many Thanks! Its been 8 months since the ring was completed and we both still love it! We are currently on our honeymoon and the ring has attracted many stares so far. It feels good knowing that I created something others can appreciate too.

UPDATE

I just wanted to stop in really quick and give you a update. My beautiful wife and I are currently enjoying our honeymoon at the Hard Rock Resort and Casino in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Sorry it has taken so long to update the thread. We have been so busy with the wedding and all the traveling.

The wedding was truly magical! I am so excited to see the pictures once we return and of course I will share them here. :)) Our first few days together as a married couple have been very exciting and interesting.... The interesting part being the drive back to our apartment when we left our wedding.

We were driving home on the I10 which is a large highway in Phoenix when we suddenly found ourselves in the middle of a car accident. As we were driving down the highway one of the vehicles in front of us was caring a mattress which suddenly fell off. I tried desperately to avoid it but unfortunately my car was hit by it. The mattress went under my car lifting the right side up into the air which resulted in us being thrown into a uncontrollable spin right in the middle of the highway. Once I regained control my car was struck in the rear by a car that was not able to stop quickly enough. Thankfully my wife and I are OK. Not even a scratch! However I am pretty sure my cherished 1991 Toyota MR2 is totaled. I put a lot of work into that car but at the end of the day its just a car. I know looking back on all of it that God definitely was watching out for us. The highway was very busy that night and the fact that only one car hit us is astounding. I have been reminded just how quickly this life can be taken away and it has helped me refocus a little on what is truly important. So I encourage you, don't take today for granted. Love Fiercely

With that behind us we are looking forward to the rest of our honeymoon! So far we are really enjoying our stay. The weather has been a bit rainy so we have not been able to enjoy the beach yet but we are hoping for sunshine tomorrow.

Thanks again to everyone who stopped by and those who commented! This past year has been the best year of our life's and Pricescope is a part of that. All of the encouragement and support has truly blessed us and I can't thank you enough! This thread is one of great joy for us and it warms our heart to read through it over and over. :bigsmile:

Congrats on the newly wed status and a wonderful honeymoon. The accident sounds terrifying and I am glad that both are unharmed and well. Will the insurance company pay out the full value of your truck?

Thank you Chrono! The Toyota MR2 is actually a mid engine sports car. It does sound like a truck tho ;)) And yes the insurance company is going to cover the full value. Looks like I am going car shopping when I return.

That's a bit distressing. I wonder if they were heated after being AIGS graded then? That's assuming it stated they were unheated on the report.

Anyway, grats on the great wedding and honeymoon! Accident sounds quite scary but thank God you made it out ok.
