6ct OEC on eBay right now...

WOW!!!

I don't often post--just read--but feel compelled to offer this heads up. Buying jewelry from UK was not a good idea for me. Shipping and Customs is the problem I encountered because their rules do not allow for shipping precious gems or metal. I discovered this when returning a SNAD (significantly not as described) ring to England and read the fine print on the shipping form. I enquired from the seller who told me to check "gift" on the form which would have been untrue, so I didn't.

Returns of fine jewelry are a real problem and UK shippers essentially have to lie on their form to ship it out.
My return shipping has not been delivered back to the seller and it is in UK Customs for the last 3 weeks.
I personally have learned my lesson and will not order from UK or other international sellers again.

It sure is a beautiful stone, though I've never heard of the Anchor cert. grade....

Let me check my spare wallet for some change....handshots coming soon ladies! :naughty:

yes, an L color never looked so white. Lovely and has been for sale for a long time. She has steadily come down on the price and is still listed "or best offer"

No. Vat is only applicable on items coming in, not going out

Eta: there won't be extra vat on top of the price. Generally goods in the uk are sold with vat included. It's only usually where some kind of a trade is involved (like say kitchen appliances from a trader rather than directly from a store) where VAT is on top

That is an amazing ring! I could cheerfully swan about the house with that on. :D
