I think I understand where your fiance is coming from. If my wife-to-be made her engagement ring into a pendant and didn't wear an engagement ring, I would feel hurt and a little confused, I think. Maybe you could just leave everything as it is until you've decided for sure you want a lower colored MRB, I feel like I just commented on another post where you were looking for a chubby marquise to replace the pear and people posted lots of options there. Maybe if you took a little vacation from PS you could just focus on enjoying your engagement for awhile instead of worrying about the ring.

I was thinking .. if your husband is worried about people thinking you are unfeeling ... wouldn't he be concerned with people asking why you aren't wearing your e-ring. Usually people not wearing an e-ring leads people to think if there are marriage issues.

Yeah, good point. If you're engaged and not wearing a ring anymore, most people would think something's up.

I was going to wait until after the shedding so I have a wedding band. Very normal for people around here to west only one or the other.
