Beautiful diamond and I REALLY like your setting! It''s a little bit different and the proportions are fab with your diamond. I like it with the channel set band a lot.

Beautiful! I love it!

what a beauty

good lord girl - you must have a TEENY finger because that .91ct looks like a 1.5ct would look on my finger! Congrats on your new arrival. Enjoy it and happy TG!

i think that nice thick setting looks great for your stone and your scattered band! good choice!

I love it! How about those arrows!! I think it is great! I love it with ALL your wedding bands. Now, what do you think?

TDM- My first impression was that I LOVED the setting but wasn''t sure about the diamond. But by the end of the day, having worn the ring the entire day, I loved the stone too! It looks gorgeous in all different lighting, and even though the carat weight is lower than what my princess was, the mm spread is a bit bigger in the wdith and a teeny bit smaller in the length. So visually, I don''t see too much of a difference. I was worrired about it looking too small, but really, it''s perfect! DH even commented about what a great size it is. I think the wider setting helps a bit as well!

Plain wedding band wise, I was set on ordering a comfort fit 3mm from EWB''s, but I really love the 2mm plain band with it! It''s thin and low enough that I''m not worried about it chewing up my prongs. So I think I may go the platinum 2mm route instead of 3mm.

But, overall I''m really happy, even if I switched to the round side!

Ow yes now that is what I have been waiting for! Your ring is beautiful and you should be proud to be wearing that! You have such a collection of bands to wear with it also and can change it up so that it looks different all the time! Great well enjoy!
Cather and Wen- Thank you so much! I''m glad I went plain solitare so that I ca mix it up with different bands if I want too :)

I love, love, love your setting!

Great choice. And while all the bands look great with it I think I''m partial to the scattered diamond band.

It should read, "that LAST WB".

While I''m sad to see your princess gone, I really don''t think you could have gone with a better, more beautiful setting and diamond!! Welcome to the trellis setting and I love how you have so many different band choices to go with your new e-ring. Congrats!!

It''s just gorgeous. And how is that only a .91 carat? It looks huge on your finger!!

My favorite w-band was the 2 mm plain, but I''m also biased.

LOL tberube! I think the camera adds a few mm''s to the diamond! I wear a size 6- definitely not teeny!

Oh, and that arrow shot was total luck! LOL!

Gemgirl- Thank you! I thinkcompared to most of the camera pros on PS, I''m not that great. I wish I could capture the sparkle and rainbows that the diamond gives off. Our camera is the Canon Power shot SD450 Digital Elph, and I turn the flash off and use the macro mode.

HTHs!

JFro- I''m actually really said my princess diamond is gone. I''ve been a little worried about the color of my new diamond (It''s an ''I'') and maybe its because I am really sick with a bad cold, I got upset that I no longer have my perfect princess (to me!). While I went up in cut, changed to a different shape, the clarity stayed the same (VS2) but went down a but in size (just a tad, really) and down in color a lot.

But I LOVE the trellis setting!! After I get the diamond appraised independently, if for some reason I return this ring to Blue Nile (unlikely unless the appraisal is really off from what I thought I bought) I''m still sticking with the trellis!

Blenheim- I ADORE your ring!! I love the trellis/x-prong look with a plain wedding band and your''s is stunning!!

Wow is this a great stone and setting choice. I am very impressed with how beautiful it turned out. That setting seems to go well with every type of band. May I ask where you got your scattered band from? It''s lovely.

I also really like the way BN did your prong tips. I have seen some from them that looked heavy, but yours are very elegant. Congrats - it''s stunning.

Beacon- Thank you! My only holdback about the diamond is the color. In some lighting and rooms it looks white and stunning and in others, it looks very warm, almost yellowish. But I have very warm colored walls (you can see them in the background of my pics) and it throws me off since I''m a weeee bit OCD about this new stone
2.gif
so I worry that I actually have a yellow diamond when I may not at all.

Anyway, I think it depends on the setting from BN. They did an amazing job on my setting and they did a great job on my original e-ring as well. I think BN would benefit from having a wider selection of prong styles instead of the standard 4 prong 6 prong, V-tips for princesses, etc.

Also, the scattered band is from Whiteflash :) It''s a 14K WG, 3mm heavy comfort fit, size 6.5. The problem is, I''ve been losing weight and my scattered band is now too loose for the fingers I would wear it on!
15.gif
I may wear it occasionally with my e-ring, just for fun, since pairing it with my e-ring would keep it on. But I have my diamond anniversary band and a new 3mm plain plat band from e-weddingbands.com tomorrow. We''ll see!
