There are so many beautiful halos on PS, but it''s funny how rarely I see them IRL. Anybody else notice this difference?

You are so right, tigian! I went to a bridal show in my area last sunday and I think there were about 200+ people there. Out of those who had engagement rings, I think I may have seen maybe 15 people with halo rings. And trust me, I was oogling the jewelry

! They must have had special lighting, since almost everyone''s diamonds sparkled like crazy! I wish I could have taken the lighting system home with me...or a portable one that I could carry around as a constant companion to my ring

Mmm...Love Love Love this thread!!! I, too, do not see many halos when I''m looking at other women''s fingers when I am out and about. When people ask me about my setting and I tell them it''s a halo setting I get a lot of "Huh''s" and What''s that?" But I still can''t get enough of them

I agree!! For as many halos as there are here....I know 1 other person IRL that has a halo too. Most people look at my ring and think that it''s "soooo original and they''ve never seen anything like it". Don''t get me wrong I love my ring but people look at as if it were the only ring in the world with a halo...I find that so odd...maybe PSer''s are ahead of the fad...maybe the rest of the world will catch up soon
