So I organised a list of projects for me to do this Autumn, as soon as work wraps up. Top of my list was setting my pink tourmaline (15 yr anniversary gift, currently running 18 months late!) and also my blue spinel (think Ellen''s aqua).
Nowhere on my list was a 5 stone BGD Nightingale, so it has kind of taken me by surprise.
I guess I wanted a diamond band I could wear every day on it''s own a lot of the time. I looked at everyone''s 5 stones and the Nightingale stood out to me.
I went along to a local store to try on similar rings. The one I liked the best had a slightly larger centre. I liked the way this made the ring more curved as opposed to a row of 5 diamonds sitting on the top of my finger, so my ring graduates from 0.30 points, followed by 2 x 0.25 points, followed by 2 x 0.20 points.
I know you will want to know the stats, and I am rushing out of the door to work, so I will post those details tonight.
I''ve also asked Lesley about the possibility of pink diamonds for the two tiny diamonds on either side. Let me know what you think.
The question I asked Lesley was, "at that size will they be distinguishable from sapphires?".
