In that last picture the diamonds look dark and they are anything but. That''s another reason I was loathe to post pictures yet. They are little firecrackers - even in the dark, as Sharon will attest to.

OK, I''m off to attempt another round of photos.

HI:

The tapering design is as beautiful as the stones. Easy to love this ring!

It''s beautiful!! I love the yg bezel diamonds on the side. It really turned out beautiful. Now, you''re not going to wear it when you''re gardening, are you!!??

No Mochi I won''t be wearing in the garden! I''ve been so good. I clean it after I wear it each time and it goes back in it''s beautiful box before bedtime. The good news and the one good thing about the early snow is that I will bet to wear it more often! I''m going to be a lady that lunches all winter, just so I can show it off!

Thanks Megeve. My pictures just don''t do it any justice at all. I wore it to an evening reception just after I got it and when my friend and I came outside it was dark and there was only streetlighting and she commented that it was really sparkly and that made my day! (because she has weally, weally big sparkly diamonds!)

I will try again with the pictures, honest. Yesterdays bunch were abysmal.

Gailey, your ring is just beautiful!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Miss Linda. I tell you ever since I ordered this ring I have been frantically rubbing Bio-oil into my tired old gardener's hands in preparation for a photoshoot! Even my nails had started to grow.

Yes, Brian did a wonderful job, as did Lesley, as did the wonderful Mr Le. You gotta watch the video.

Gailey, your ring is just beautiful!!!!!!!!!
Aw thanks DD! Mere specs compared to yours, but very, very sparkly specs!! I wanted a band that was a bit more than an eternity band, but one I could wear every day when I''m not at work. I will probably wear it on it''s own for the most part, but I am in the process of planning a 3-stone with a tsavorite centre that I wiill wear with it. I tell you, it''s a Winter of projects coming up. If I can just stay away from buying any more coloured stones that is!

Gailey, it''s gorgeous! I love the tapered idea.

Thank you EBree. I discovered the tapered idea by accident. I went into Birks to try on 5 stone rings to make sure that what I had fallen in love with here on PS was actually going to look OK on my hand. One of the rings I tried on had a slightly larger centre stone and it looked better than the others, so the taper idea was born. All credit to Birks for that idea.

Gailey, it''s absolutely stunning! and I love the tapered look.

Can you take some more photos for us? I''d love to see your new sparkly up close and personal.

Wooo....can''t wait to see it with the 3-stone ring. I love 3-stone rings. It''s going to be beautiful together so stop buying any more coloured stones and get that project going!

Just gorgeous! Another Brian Gavin Masterpiece!! I bet it sparkles like mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aw Gailey- it''s gorgeous! Sounds like you had what I call, "Watch the road, not the ring" syndrome.

That looks just LOVELY!!!

Ah yes watch the road not the ring, and give thanks for red lights. LOL

OH GAILEY DEAR, your ring is just stunning!!!

I love the 5-stone idea, and BGD to boot!!! His work is just remarkable!

Congratulations on such a lovely ring, you certainly deserve it. How are you able to drive and eat in restaurants???

They must be such sparkly firecrackers!

Gailey,

I just wanted to say congrats on your amazing ring! I love the taper look you created. I wear my Nightingale all of the time and Mom wears her Sally. We both get compliments frequently just like I am sure you do. BDG does an amazing job. I bet this will be a piece you will treasure this for a long time to come!!

Congrats again!!!

Gailey I missed this the first time around! I love the ring!

I am curious why you chose to do the subtle graduationg in diamond sizes? It looks lovely!

Why Gailey, what a lovely firecracker you''ve got there.

Thanks Dreamer for the bump, missed this one...

Thank you ladies!

The reason I chose the subtle graduation is because it seemed to wrap around my finger more, rather than look like a stick sitting across the front.

Here''s another picture taken with the camera I am hoping to purchase (if only I could stop buying stones)!
